Help-need guidance

I have interest in the supply routes to the Siege of Lenigrad through Lake Lagoda- the nearby  cities are Schlisserburg, Kirovsk. Both cities are relatively small at 13K and 23K population, respectively. Both are about 20km east of Saint Petersburg, on the main highway

I need some internet sites that can let me know of local businesses, food and lodging..Just can't find a good source.

Any help is appreciated.

Please note I know none of those above - it was a simple Google search.



An alternative might be to contact Phil dAmore from the members list to ask his advice.  He lived in Pete for a long time and is likely to have some contacts for you.

I always advise to Google in Cyrillic, but you'll have to deal with hits in the Russian language. A search of Kirovsk ( Кировск ) leads one to a nice little site with tourism information to include hotels, even with rates.
Here is one such page that is a good beginning:

Attached is the Hotel Ekkos ("Эккос" ) - wow- I would like to stay here. They offer doubles, triples and apartments for up to four people. Rates seem VERY reasonable, quoted in Euros.

This is a different Kirovsk. This is a link for Kirovsk in Murmanskaya oblast, the OP needs Kirovsk in Leningradskaya oblast

Just realized my error. The Kirovsk he seeks looks more like a village.
And the lake is misspelled, it's actually Ladoga. The other city is Schlisselburg.
Sorry 'bout that.
