Elena's Models Credit Card Scam
« on: July 25, 2010, 02:21:09 PM »
Here is a warning...once you give Elena's Models credit card information for a period of membership you never get to quit. I have repeatedly tried to get them to stop billing my credit card and now have complaints against them to the processor and police. Beware. Girls are pretty but management is terrible and won't resolve customer service problems.

First I've heard of this problem.

They were fine in the past.

Suggest you call them, my impressions have always been of a reputable business. And...........I've had cause to call the office on anothers behalf and the response was immediate. I suggest you pick up the telephone in 1 hour 30 minutes from the time on this post, their morning opening time.

Phone: + 617 55 622 937
Please phone strictly Monday-Friday; 9:00-16:00 Australian Eastern Time (Queensland, Brisbane).

I agree with I/O and ECOCKS as I never had a problem with them, but the last time I used their service was over 1.5 years ago so things might have changed (maybe they added auto-renew for accounts similar to what match.com has, then it's just a matter of filtering down to the correct page and turning it off).

I think there is a couple problems - one is it is one person first post (maybe not true) or it maybe that he did not pickup the phone and talk to them directly.  Easier to clean things up over the phone than a random email.  I would not worry about using credit card with Elena Model unless the day to day ownership has changed again.

You complained to the police about a recurrent billing problem?

Sounds like BS to me.

If they refused to remove the charges a simple phone call to your bank to dispute the charges would have resolved it once and for all.

This sounds more like operator error to me.

Some competitor or bungler perhaps?

I have never had nor heard of any billing problems with EM.

They post their office phone # on the site.  Have you tried calling it?

You may also want to call your credit card issuer to see if they can help resolve the problem.

Aw C'mon you called The Police???  Really?  For a charge on your credit card?  They must be investigating it with the FBI.   Did they laugh and tell you to call your credit card company or EM?  I think this post is bogus.

I think this post is bogus.

The M.O. of the poster is very similar to a member of another forum who goes by "LoyalMan".  He had a post complaining about women on EM as they always got mad and ended up yelling at him (he did not mention what he said to have them yell at him).  Then a few weeks later he had a post saying that EM is a big scam site, but did not answer any questions asking about details.  In other words, I'm guessing it's the same person and if not then this poster has the same issues and they probably have little to do with EM, IMHO.

In the UK, the dog days of high summer are called the Silly Season due to the stories that get made up or embellished when nothing else of importance is happening, and those that got left behind in the office get bored, and sometimes inventive.

So why don't you just cancel the credit card and get a new one issued?
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

The guy comes on one time for 8 minutes to make a post about an agency that we seem to agree is at least odd if not malicious or stupid.

What does that suggest?

Maybe he thinks that everyone who disagrees with him is some sort of fraudmeister.

There are people like that out there, and if he is one and thinks he will actually find an FSU woman who will agree with him all of the time, I wish him lots of luck because he will need it.

This guy is an obvious troll. He shows up, makes 1 complaint about EMs and never posts again. Would seem to me likely EMs competition or some Quasimoto unhappy with his results.

And as long as we keep bumping the post every couple of days he is happy.  ;D

...and Em is still fine now. My membership is dew end on October 22, 2010. Just got a bank notification stating that EM has ended the reoccurring billing. If one wants to one can notify their bank and make a cancellation, whether through phone or through the internet. I am a satisfied customer of EM and have mad more success there in a month than any of the other agencies I am on, or was on.
