Ok, I am a new member.  I haven't read all of the post and I am sure that some of these topics have been covered.  I just read a few of the calling card post.  I didn't see Ohello.com listed.  I have been using it for the last 7 months calling around Russia.  Most of the rates vary whether you are calling a house phone or cell phone, but a regular call to St Petes is about 5-6 cents a minute.  To Ufa, or Oktyabrsky Russia it is about 7-9 cents a min.

Another topic, exchanging banners.  I noticed there is a Topsite page here.  I tried to add my site, but I don't have a URL to a banner.  I have written a couple books and am in the middle of another one.  They deal with meeting Russian woman, Divorce, and Teaching English in Russia.  My site ie www.my-russia.com.

If anyone has any Ideas let me know.  Being new here I am sure I have a lot of catching up to do with all the post.  But I might have a lot to add from other site I have found too.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the visits to my site after I posted this yesterday.  I couldn't beleave how many hits on the counter.  I even got a couple of book sales from it.

I am still trying to set up a banner to put in the Topsites page.  I sent in my info, and asked for help with the banner.  If anyone can help me?  I am not sure what they want,,, It says URL to a banner.  I have built a banner, now what do I do?

Will,

Since you have a website, you can simply put a copy of the banner on that website - make sure you know the URL path to access it - and then, put that URL into the section on TopSite where it asks for the URL to the banner.

For example - your website is: http://www.my-russia.org/

So if you go to your website, and put a banner in the same directory as the root for the site (let's use a filename of banner.jpg) - then to access that banner, you would merely have to point your browser to -- http://www.my-russia.org/banner.jpg - and if your banner graphic file was installed at your site, you would immediately see it in your browser. Now take that same URL (http://www.my-russia.org/banner.jpg) - and copy it over to where the TopSite entry asks for your website URL, and you are finished.

By the way, the banner for TopSite needs to be a standard size 468 pixels wide by 60 pixels tall.

Thanks Dan  I will get on that today.  I built the site myself, still trying to figure out how I did it.  The company I went to wanted $1000 to set it up for me.  That was good motovation for me to do it myself.  I still need to learn alot though.

Where's the multi-level marketing scheme here?!? I mean - shouldn't they get the 10% (or maybe only 8 %) - and I get an override for introducing them ?? And of course, if THEY introduce someone, then I shold get a piece of that too - and so on and so on.....

About beeing creative with money... Your have a banner of RussianFlora in the section "Top site"... Why not register RWD like a affiliate and replace the actual link by a affiliate link... Each user of RWD who will click the link and make a order will bring some % to you... a good sytem for light your hosting expense of RWD... Same with RussianScamCheck...

And about russian-women-1000.net , they have a banner here in  the top site... why not register for the banner exchange program ( http://www.russian-women-1000.net/banner.shtml ) and have the RWD banner on these site ?

For other profit oriented websites I recommend to build a page with www.RussianFlora.com products as few of succesfull affiliates done with us.
