Welcome, and ask away.

Welcome to RWD JamesDub!

Just a suggestion, forget the the "wife" hunting for a bit. Concentrate on finding a woman for dating and think keeping the horse before the cart.  :D

FP--while we probably only really vary by our respective definitions, I disagree. By the time I began my international search, I was quite clear that I had had enough of "finding women for dating" and was most definitely seeking one with true intention and potential to be a mate. Thus, I was only interested in getting to know ladies who were similarly seeking.

Of course, I had been single for more than twenty years following my first marriage by that time--and I had dated widely during those two decades.

Thus, in my view there is nothing at all wrong with understanding when one is ready to seek and find that "special someone"--but keeping a level head on one's shoulders and being realistic about those he meets should always be a part of the process.

David, we'll just have to disagree on that one. Believe it or not our situations at that time were somewhat similar. But rather than muddle up JamesDub's intro thread with this often discussed approach, it sounds like a topic for a new thread you could start.

JD, you've come to the right place, there is lotsa information here for you to read. Dating in the FSU is expensive, you really should read, read and read some more. You don't like feeling rushed into marriage? This may not be your cuppa joe. I felt rushed into marriage even though it took us over two years. It's a different game than the dating and engagements of yon.

In any event, good luck to you

A big hello to you JamesDub and hira101.

It would be good to know a little more about you hira101. I see you have a link to a translation site, would I be guessing correct that you are a translator?
Its an opinion, don't get too crazy if you disagree :)

Hi! I am completely lost. I need to talk to American men about Russian women. I will soon have my Russian wife in America. I say Russian wife becuase I have been with her for two hears. I have been to Russian. I met her family. I talk to her many times each day on Skype. I just need to know a couple of things before our K1 visa is fully complete. I am having some second thoughts. I know it is very late in the process. Please, please, somebody talk to me. I must know if she is 100% honest. I adore her. But I can never find answers toa handful of questions. I must understand her 100%. Please help me....

welcome-

Ok youv'e known her for two years.
it's very  doubtful anyone here, as  strangers on the internet,
that knows neither of you, could help much deciding if she is 100% honest?

and if its a K1 , it's fiancee, not wife, correct?

If you  give more details, or what specifically is causing you doubts,
then  posters could advise and speculate away..
and would be happy to try and help.

but it would be good for you to  start a new topic,
asking your questions and outlining some details..
 in the Experienced section ,
as this section  and thread is for introductions

.

Redroc

It would be best for you to start a new thread ( topic) and give us some idea what is on your mind. You are pretty far down the road but it is never too late to stop..if that is the right move. Why second thoughts now?

:welcome: to RWD redroc50.
Can you give us some more details?
Why all of the sudden do you have cold feet?
What happened?

Maybe the "Mods" can split this thread?

redroc's post is fairly recent but, he seems to be a drive-by poster. Only 1 post to date. If he posts again or requests a split we'll be happy to oblige.
