Do any of the ladies or other experienced FSU people know if a Ukrainian or Russian woman can easily get a visa to travel to Equador??

I found this on another website.  If it is not completely accurate please jump in.  I also found a TR here on RWD of a guy who met his Russian girlfriend in Quito Ecuador, so apparently it is not a problem.  If things have changed, please let me know.

"Russians are visafree to/Russians do NOT need a visa to Costa Rica, Ecuador, Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Granada, St Vincent, Cuba, Dominican Rep, Haiti, Fiji, Samoa, Vanuatu, Micronesia, Malaysia, Namibia, Korea, Seychelles, Bosnia......
nor to Croatia, Macedonia and Slovenia on a good day (meaning, the Russian is visafree if they have the easily obtainable tourist voucher).

Russians are also effectively visafree (meaning they do not have to organise anything before arriving into the desired country - it's simply a visa on arrival) also to Lebanon, Syria, Cambodia, Turkey, Maldives, Jordon, Jamaica, Tonga, Palau, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Bangladesh, Burkino Faso, Comores, Kenya, Madagascar, Sao Tome, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia, Niue, Cook Isl, Macao.

If you want a *DEFINITIVE* answer - follow the link in this topic -- http://www.russianwomendiscussion.com/index.php?topic=1618.0.

It will take you to the Delta airlines site where you can plug in a couple of parameters and then determine what, if any, visas are required for Ecuador, and any other destination country - or transit country, for that matter.

The best part of Ecuador - the Galapagos Islands.  However, those islands probably don't interest you because in another thread you stated your belief in Adam and Eve.  So why go there?  Peru has the same Amazonian  headwaters plus Machu Pichu.  I hear good reports about Panama.  Dominican Republic is an easy entry for FSUW and the beaches are the best.  Costa Rica was wonderful years ago, but perhaps too many tourists today.

Trip Report:  Ecuador

I did spend 14 days in Ecuador with a Russian woman.  We LOVED the place, and did get over to the Galapagos Islands as well at the end of our trip.

Rubicon, at that time, the visa was a snap.  You filled out the visa form when you landed in Ecuador and paid a small fee for the instant visa.
