Ladies and Gentlemen,

While there is a lot of different online translation tools and software programs, it is always better to have a real person with an experience to help you to get your point across. I was born and raised in Russia, but moved to the states at a young age because my mother got married to an american (they are still together :)) so I have lived in the United States for the third of my life, and do have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. I am proud to say that i am fluent in both Russian and English languages, and would like to offer my translation services for a low price to people who are seeking a relationship overseas. I will translate your letters with a great attention, and make sure the other person understands everything the way you mean it.
Message or email me your questions/requests/suggestions/concerns and i will be more than happy to work with ya!

Sincerely, Nataliya

I would be hesitant to work with someone who used 'ya' and who spelled American with lower case letter.

May be fine in general for these discussion sites, but not for someone who is seeking such work.

And as long as I am at it, since I will be bombarded:

there is a lot of different online translation tools

a real person with an experience

for the third of my life

 i am fluent

with a great attention

A beautiful woman is pleasant to look at, but it is easier to live with a pleasant acting one.

I am not a certified translator by any means, and there is no need for you to point out my mistakes, for this website is not about grammar. All im trying to do here is to help people from different countries/cultures to understand each other and get a little cash for it.

If you are interested in grammar here is a few forums that i found for ya:

Thanks for such a welcoming reply!

Hello Natalya,
I think you will find huge bias from the members here against having to pay $5 per letter sent and received...
But I used services like yours from a couple of companies in Russia and Ukraine and it worked fine for me.  Nevertheless, you would probably have more success advertising for 3-way phone call translations.
Good luck.

Hello Natalya, I would recommend you to hang around.  Please excuse ML. He's made over 40 trips to the FSU although when he made his first trip is a closely guarded secret.

No doubt the service you provide is much better than what we could ever expect from a translation software. ML is what many of us would consider a cheap S.O.B.  If it cost any money to speak of he's not going to recommend it.

There will be times when a man has such an important message to send a woman who does not read or speak English he would be a fool not to use a human translator such as yourself.

Thank you for your advice, it is greatly appreciated! I will definitely think about the three way calls if i have more free time, unfortunately a full time job does not allow me to offer this service for this time being. As i far as my rates go, the price will depend on the size of a letter: anything under 100 words = $1, over 100 = $0.10 per word.

Nataliya I'd like to echo Jack's remarks about sticking around.  We can always use another FSUW's opinion.  Someone to gently tell us what we're doing wrong.  :)   After reading ML's last post I'm not sure what language he is fluent in, but it doesn't appear to be English.   Of course having lived in Canada and England, I've learned a slightly different version of English.  Perhaps ML's version is simply a dialect I'm not familiar with.  :D

I am not a certified translator..
:welcome:
I remember I needed a certified pro to do all the wife's Russian/Ukrainian documents [birth certificate etc] so they were all done for the visa interview.
There was a lady in Richardson, Tx that did it all.
A nationwide service...

http://www.atanet.org/certification/ct_usage_policy.php

Ukrainian translates to English differently than Russian does.
Too many unnecessary y's and i's
Russian...Erofeeva [simple huh?]
Ukrainian...Yerofyeyeva ???
Go figure

I went skiing in Colorado one time with my Moscow friends who spoke so/so english back then. His best friend from New York joined us. He was English-Russian translator for the Russian government at the U.N.
Boy, was that an experience !  He was perfect and fast.

I am proud to say that i am fluent in both Russian and English languages, and would like to offer my translation services for a low price to people who are seeking a relationship overseas.

Most people at RWD seem to recommend that men should target only FSUW who speak some English.   As such , an interpreter is not needed except for translation of FSU official documents (birth certificate, divorce certificate, etc.) required by the US government for immigration.    I believe that is ManLooking's position.

Some of us men ignored the advice and instead found fine women among those who did not speak English.  Communication was very difficult, and impossible if  the topic were serious.    Hence, I used an interpreter for 3-way calls.  Such accounted for 95% of my expenditures for translation.
