A Re- Introduction is in order

More than any other site, or experience, RWD was an important resource to me while I was getting over my divorce, and coping with my first love affairs with RW.  That was 4 years ago - DAMN TIME FLIES.

It is natural for men to run around a little after a long term relationship.   It is natural to get your game back.  I might have over shot the runway ...  I have lived in South America much of the last 3 years - Colombia mostly.   Thus, dating beautiful women has not been problematic.   And, I do enjoy being with a beautiful, sensual woman.   But, the flakiness and constant dishonesty one finds in Latinas, really does lead to a long term, successful relationships.   And, since I find myself wanting something of deeper quality and more lasting (my biological clock must be ticking LOL), I have been thinking about Eastern Europe and Russia again. BUT, this time it is different for me. 

1, I see very clearly that most women on dating sites and looking for a foreign husband are looking for a better circumstance, and the man is a secondary consideration.  That is not an ideal starting point.  I am hopeful, but jaded.

2, I see that these marriages are not cast in stone (obviously).  I have not followed this board closely over the last 16 months, but I have read notable breakups that I found surprising.   What is the prevailing sentiment from the active, long term members on this point?

3, BUT, so many of these ladies are intelligent and full of life - there seems to be much substance to hook on to.   Thus, a normal well-earned relationship seems FAR more likely than other pairings I see in Colombia, or in Philippines (just my opinion).

I have an excuse to go to Hungary for a couple months in April / May.  I have never been to Central or Eastern Europe. So, I am back reading and posting for a spell.

An opportunity for gold for her...or a possible golden opportunity for him?  If the glass is half full, have a drink and see what it tastes like.  Judge each lady on her own merits without generalization.  I'm sure she has several goals, and that may or may not be the top one on her list.

If Jen Aniston was recruiting marriage-minded men for her Bachelorette contest, I'm sure there would be a long line, with many good ones.   A better circumstance wouldn't be near the top of their list of reasons, but I doubt if it would be a negative factor for them.

OTOH, if a guy was looking in Beverly Hills for a rich lady to take care of him while he played golf every day, then not a positive image.

1.  I do think better circumstances is a motivation for a number of the women.  I think too having a choice among men who may well be better husband material is a factor.  Are not a lot of the men traveling to the FSU looking for better circumstances in the dating scene and better wife material too?   After a bunch of trips there I think the situation is much the reverse from the USA.  Finding a good woman who wants to marry is much easier there.  There is competion here for good women and competion there for good men. 
 
2.  I am not sure which breakups surpised you but yes, there have been some breakups but few that surprised me.  I can think of one that surprised me.   There are also lots and lots of happily married men who seem to have found exactly what they were looking for.  I don't think the success rate is any lower and it may be higher than marriages of AM-AW.  We are now over 4 years and it has been a wonderful 4 years.
 
Before I began going to the FSU I corresponded with some Latinos.  I think each culture has its good and bad points.  Latinos have a lot of passion and the women can be quite beautiful.  Once I got involved with RW I lost all interest in South America.  I hope you are able to make it to the FSU on your trip.  I think you may find RW far more to your liking.

You will enjoy Hungary.  Budapest is sophisticated, more European than Russian IMO.  Girls are pretty.  Czech girls are even prettier.

1, LatinAs - It is impossible to write off an entire country, or race:)  But, in Colombia, honesty is just plain different.  I SHOULD be happy with the choices given ... but, there is always "what if". 


2, FSU women seem to hit me right between the eyes with words.   At the end of the day, I do not want a plastic doll.   I am sure I will enjoy Hungary - it is very close to Ukraine!  Just joined Elenas again after a year or two.  It is rather amazing, really,  in the last 24 hours, I have had deeper and more meaningful emails with new acquaintances from ElenasModels, than I have had in the last 2 years from Latina conocidas. (women I know in Colombia)  That is a hard not to notice, and hard to compromise away.

3, BTW - I speak English and have gotten pretty far with Spanish.   How will that leave me communication-wise in Hungary?  What is the frequency of English / Spanish speakers in Ukraine these days?   ( I probably could learn Portuguese, Romanian, or Italian in a couple months ... I hold little hope / interest for German or Russian)

Completely difference language in that area....a romance language will not help much!!! This from a girl living in romania!! Hey....romania and moldova right there....your spanish might come in handy there, some similarities!!

nice to see you here Eduard.  I was in St. Pete for the holidays, and the USA for trade shows in January.   I am going back to South America in a couple days for Carnival.  I'll be there for about a month until it warms up in Eastern Europe.
