Well ,when I was searching about the indo russian marriages then i came across this forum.I was just curious as what makes russian women to marry an Indian when they have much better options.I know for a indian men it is very big achievment to marry a russian in other words Indian men know importance of russian women more than any other knows but at the same time they have lots of fear of cultural difference.

Why is it a big achievement?

I have often  heard talk that it is a great coup for a black man to marry a white woman, even a 'not so good looking' white woman.  Don't know  the exact reasoning there, but perhaps it is along the same lines as viewed by Indian men.

I have had discussions with 5 or so Arab men over the years.  They tell how they can have very good and beautiful Arab wives but they are desperately wanting a blue eyed blonde woman.  Perhaps it is just the novelty of it.

I feel blessed that I don't crave women of any particular color or hue . . . just as long as they are slender . . . and stay off the bread to remain that way.

This is traditionnal, for a lot of "colored" men who live in non western coutries, one achievement is to get a white spouse from a western country. If you get additionnaly a blond with blue eyes it is the top of the top. And if you are from black africa, and has and a blond blue eyes spouse from western countries AND a mercedes you have achieved the most envious position. For maghrebians people the same (big SUV rather than a mercedes). You are high in the society. They are therefore very proud. You are and pro european or american, so upper than the local by your mariage, you have got "something" very rare and showed that your culture is enough attractive to get the blond .... Symbols, symbols. People like the "show me, i will show you, show attitude". In your opinion, what is the most amazing in your mueslim, indian coutry : have the top car or a blond with blue eyes with you ? Power, power.
