Maybe, but there are indirect flights for as little as $160 US, and direct flights from about $220, although most seem to be about the $450 mark.  Does your return flight to the US have to be from Vienna, or can you change it?  For example, it may work out cheaper to fly home via Moscow, and it won't take that much longer.

Air Baltic...with one stop service from low $200's.....for mid week travel and overnight Saturday stay not required.........(sounds like a commercial)
Direct flights are more in ~$500 range... Lots of cache for a two hour flight one way flight.....
