Wife is getting ready to sell her apartment in Minsk. Is it still possible to transfer money from a Belarus bank to a USA bank? If not, are there other options available?

it might be the ONLY option...

I can't speak to Belarus, but for Ukraine it was ILLEGAL to take money out of Ukraine
so banks aren't allowed to wire ya the money....

a suitcase full of cash is your only real option
get the treaury dept declaraction form for when you bring to the usa or it'll be confiscated as "drug related"

i'd imagine $$$ are in short supply in Belarus
not fun carryin around that much money in the FSU

this is how "REAL MEN" handle business
in the future yur gonna have to do EVERYTHING this way, EVEN in the USA
cuz EVERYTHING will be taxed, even yur taxes will be taxed

be glad yur a geezer and grew up in post-war America instead of bein one of today's kids
the next generation has no damned clue about how phuqued they're gonna be 20 years from now
