I don't think he is referring to the nicer term "bitches" but based on his American thinking and what he describes I believe he wants to be a bit more emphatic, if you know what I mean.

I am not very familiar with the British (or American) slang when it comes to name calling, but my general understanding is that there are several "bad names" for females in Russian, and that these terms are very similar to American:

- сука - bitch/female dog (unpleasant woman who has a tendency/ability to get under man's skin and/or wear the pants in the relationship, woman who is stronger than man or tries to have an upper hand, generally any active woman, sometimes a woman who gets from man what she wants but don't give a man what he wants, or don't meet man's expectations and rather acts in her own interests. )

- блядь - slut (woman who is either criticized for her propensity to open relationships with men, or generally any woman who is criticized for being a woman capable of intercourse. Literally in Russian it means a woman who has sex with men for free (vs. a prostitute who does it for money), and is not married to man she has sex with.)

- корова - a cow (a slow and unattractive, big/heavy, usually older or nerdier woman)
- курица - "a hen" (don't know if there is similar term in English, in Russian the term characterizes the woman as "not quite human because her brain is too small/underdeveloped", basically not a smart or in any way socially evolved woman)
- соска - "pacifier", or in direct translation from russian "a sucker" - a young female. Not sure about the origin of the term. Could be hinting at young age of the girl because she needs a "pacifier," or could be also hinting that this woman is literally good for blowjobs, or is a sucker figuratively speaking - indicating at lower standing of a young female at the social ladder.
- пизда - cunt. Often used in combination "ТП/ тупая пизда" - dumb cunt. Pretty much self-explanatory term. Implies that a female is only valuable for her genitals, or/and that this particular female is using her vagina as a mean to promote herself.

There is also a common joke that misogynistic men assign all women to the either one of two possible categories:
"A bitch is a woman who refuses to have sex with a man, a slut is the woman who agrees to have sex with a man." The conclusion is that no matter what the woman does she will get disapproval/be at wrong and will be called an offensive name.

Then, there are also bad names for men too.

there are some terms I never use in the FSU, ever. That is one of them. Were I to use it, it would undermine my credibility to the point that it would take decades to rebuild. Just because I may hear a RM use it doesn't mean that I'm obligated nor deigned the freedom to stoop down into his latrine.

That's exactly how most people in Ukraine/Russia think and behave.

You pretty much nailed it. The same words have the same meaning (for the most part) East and West.

Mies, your language shocks me.   :D

Most of your definitions are correct, and in the interest of improving your vocabulary, a couple of your choices need some modification.

Close.  When a man calls a woman a slut, I reply that his choice of words means she has sex for free with any man except him.

- курица - "a hen" (don't know if there is similar term in English, in Russian the term characterizes the woman as "not quite human because her brain is too small/underdeveloped", basically not a smart or in any way socially evolved woman)

In American English, calling a woman an "old hen" would mean besides being old that she is fussy, nosy, and/or gossipy.  Negative women.   Akin to the babushkas sitting on a bench, chewing sunflower seeds, and making insulting comments about the RW walking beside you.

We don't have that expression.

promote herself.

No.     A cunt is a subset of bitch, the worse bitches to be exact.  She would be extremely disagreeable, to the point of being highly irritating and mean to men in general.     "Cunt" is akin to the male "bastard" with a key exception.  A man does not mind being called a "bastard;" in fact, some may consider it a sign of respect for being strong and  difficult.    OTOH, "cunt" is so offensive to women that men are not allowed to use it.  We substitute the term "C-word" instead, even when talking about women who are not present.  Only a desperate man would have sex with a cunt.

The second version is correct, the first is wrong (though it can have some meaning) as is the last one.

Originally and generally, соска is a derogatory term for a low-profile prostitute (often cheap) used primarily for oral sex (namely, blowjob), usually at a car on a highway. It refers to a penis which the girl treats like a pacifier.

It is also used as a deeply offensive word against any woman. Some men, especially criminals, call all women соска’s (soski) when talking to buddies.

So, the first version may have some truth in it, as highway soskas are often young girls who have barely stopped using their pacifiers, figuratively speaking. Sometimes it is teenage girls.

Please do not consider replying to the Thumbs Down I've just given as I am not prepared to entertain any appeals  :o
If you want to keep your expressions convergent, never allow them a single degree of freedom.
