Russian demonstrators rally in support of U.S. adoption ban

I have been to a Russian orphanage and was surprised at how well it was run and how the children behaved very nicely. A good friend of mine was a volunteer there and even though he was always single he adopted a boy from there. The boy is now a Russian policeman.
However, when I asked him if there were kids there with problems he said "yes".
I think some were mental - maybe AFS and maybe more. Also, I have heard that some orphanages dump some of these problem and unhealthy kids on to adopting parents. One time returning from Moscow on Delta one of these families sat next to me and I saw that they were going to have a lifetime of problems with their child.
Still, the one orphanage I saw was really a decent place.
