Has any of you heard this before?
« on: April 14, 2006, 10:40:22 PM »
I was talking to Lena today, by phone, she asked me how a guy could tell if his life was a good one or a lousy one.

It's a good life if he lives in an American house, eats Chinese food, and has a Russian wife. It's not so good life if he lives in a Chinese house, eats Russian food, and has an American wife. Something like that. Either she made that up or she has been talking to a few RW who have the same notion as she does about one day living in America. I do not like Russian food. It is too bland for me. I am a huge fan of AW, but I do think that the Chinese homes can be nice.

Very old joke, I've heard several variations using different nationalities...

Heaven is a Russian wife, and English house, and American salary, and Chinese food.

Hell is an American wife, a Russian salary, English food (sorry Ste), and a Chinese house.

... is the one I saw.

:D  yeah, that is what she told me, but in a different order. Lena lives somewhere around Kazakstan. That joke must have spread everywhere through out the FSU.
