You can always true Russian dating sites such as singles.ru. It is part of the mamba network and you can search by country and city.

Go to the appropriate churches, the Russian food markets, look for Russian clubs in your area, look into Russian language courses at universities as they  generally have native speakers on lists for practice sessions, etc.

Another tactic that is not much used here, but might be worth a try.

Ask the AM on this forum that are married to FSUW to send you a Private Message if they are interesting in trying to shift their FSUW over to you.

And likewise, ask married FSUW who post here to send you a PM if they are thinking of 'trading up.'  Be prepared to furnish various  types of proof that you are 'trade up' material compared to their current situations.

Also, ask Vasilisa to return to USA to give you a shot.

To add on to Misha's suggestion, some of the big sites geared to international relationships also contain profiles for RW who live in Western countries.  Elena's Models, for example, has profiles of RW who now live in various major cities in the US.  You can search by country but not by city I think.

There are also many FSUW on the big US dating sites, such as Match.com.  That was how I was introduced to dating FSUW.  The problem is figuring out which are FSUW.  I didn't realize until I met them that any of these girls were from FSU.  Some had Anglicized their names, for example Nataliya called herself Natalie.  And some had names that could have been either FSU or American.

It might be helpful if you could find some sort of organized Russian activities in your area.  If you gain entree and seem normal then you might get introductions to single FSUW here.

Some people might suggest that you do a search on vk.com.  I have no idea about the odds of finding success using this method.

There's also a growing Czech / Bulgarian community here too. Especially the past 4-5 years. The ratio of Czech-Russian is almost equal.

I know how inclusive some immigrant groups are and I just didn't want to get into all that drama.  And I totally understand where they are coming from too. I don't want any outsider getting into our women.  I get that.  Speaking about first generation Russian/Ukrainian Americans living here who are very insular within their community.  That's a tough nut to crack.

I see that people have met some of their s/o while they are on student visas or what not. That would be perfect. I've seen Russian families vacation in Vegas. I've seen older Russian guys with lovely younger lady - we know that that scenario is all about it.

I thought there might be some sites that had Russian women here in America - as students, with work visas etc.  I'd like to meet and befriend some Russian people just to talk about the culture and stuff.

I'm in California but I'm mobile. I remember there was a site for Russians in America but as I looked it up it didn't seem like it was like that at all.
