Fun travel game that tests knowledge of European geography
« on: July 29, 2013, 09:18:07 AM »
You are presented with a map of Europe and you must land your plane at a certain city. You get points for how close you click to that city. The game has three rounds and each round is more difficult than the last, leading up to the devilishly difficult third round where the country borders are erased, making it more difficult to pinpoint the city.  I am embarrassed to admit how far off I was on St. Petersburg in round three.  On the other hand, I came pretty close to Minsk and Vilnius.  You might not realize how much more difficult it can be to pinpoint some city locations when the map does not show national borders.

I scored 26787.

You can play several times and for the most part your selection of cities won't be repeated. My subsequent scores were only slightly higher than my original score. If you are interested in European geography, play the game; it's fun.
