Verona - 2 main attractions - the colusseum and the House of Julietta (Romeo & Juliet).  Been there last October for a day trip

Pisa is only 1 hour away from Florence and if you have time, go to Siena.

To be honest, Tuscany is better in the summer..............

It sounds as if everything is going well, the sightseeing and the romancing.

Please say hello to Sandro.

Well what can I say?  Lovely trip but 8 or 9 days with someone in close quarters lets you see certain sides. It was what it was. She's a nice girl and she might make someone a sweetheart one day but we are just not for each other. We did have some fun times, saw some beautiful places, met Sandro, ate great food, drank good wine but at the end of the day it just will not ever work. I don't think she would ever be acceptant of my kids and they will not be taking a backseat to anyone. Maybe next time.

Glad you had a great time Greg.

For me personally, I just enjoy meeting a new person and getting to know them.  Even if we find we are not compatible long term.  It sounds like you had a great time, regardless, and hopefully it will always be an experience you look back with a smile.

Did Sandro mind the close quarters?   :P

Did you ask her what she thinks of your kids by another woman and how'd she'd get along with them  prior to meeting? I asked my wife about kids and a variety of other hot topic, make or break questions, before visiting her. She said kids are innocent, she loves kids and if she marries a man with kids she'd like to get along with them.

No I never thought to ask her any of these questions prior to us meeting for the 2nd time. I'm relatively new at this whole RW/UW thing and see I should've spent more time here doing prep work.

Sounds like a successful trip to me!

You completed the "round peg, square hole" analysis in just two trips.  And you had a good time!

Thanks for sharing. Probably your report can help to break the stereotype that people who have a "vacation-type" meeting are not able to make sensible decisions about their relationship.

It's not that hard to do really. I knew this trip would be different than our first meeting. I saw things this trip that wasn't there the last trip. For instance, she apparently started smoking. I never would've went the first time had I know this. She concealed it very good during our first meeting in Kiev. Sweet girl, nice girl, smart girl and could be funny as hell at certain times, just not enough. She's 38 and I'm 45. Her no kids, me two. I'm pretty outgoing. I talk to people, enjoy meeting new people. I joke around, like to laugh. I don't see her doing much changing and I wouldn't expect her too. At the end of the day the trip was nice. I highly recommend Italy. The food is great, the history is there and the people are very friendly.

That's true.  :) Spending time 24/7 together can be very informative.
