FINDING A REAL HONEST UKRAINIAN WOMAN,

I will not address this post to Dear John , as I did before, because as the title indicates I will deal with the subject of finding an honest REAL Ukrainian woman via the internet as a potential prospective partner and wife.
Marriage agencies existed from time and memorial and of course there are plenty of honest such agencies around and is up to you to use one or not.

Yeah, some people want an upgrade using their wallet to achieve desired results.
But others have enough substance and confidence in themselves to win a woman's heart over. “I will refer only to Ukraine and Ukrainian women, where my own experience lies and have traveled several times but I think the same conditions apply for the other FSU countries too! The NO Visa requirement for EU and USA passport holders makes traveling there easier than in any other FSU country!
Part 1The development of the Internet opened new possibilities for achieving freedom of speech and meeting other people from around the world. There are 1000’s of dating web sites which charge fees but also there some FREE one too. Of course we must not forget all these marriage agencies which also have websites and of course they charge for their services.
Before you start visiting all these, fee paying or FREE of subscription web sites I would suggest you sit back and think about yourself and why you are planning to llok for a partner in one of the FSU countries. In my post Dear John, I have outlined some of the main reasons and other people have contributed some more.
Think, which are your priorities, financial position, and of course what you are looking for in life. Make a list of your priorities and once you decide, that you want to find a good honest woman from FSU to share your life and you are serious about it, then I suggest you start planning the whole thing, like a business plan, if you want to be successful.
Whatever happens during your quest to find this woman you have to bear in mind that you will have to spend money one way or another. Can you afford it?
All dating web sites allow you to register for FREE and create a profile. Once you done that you will be receiving plenty of e-mails, automatically generated with many suggestions, women’s profiles and most of the time rubbish. They only want your subscription and your money.
In Russia/Ukraine women do not have computers at home or a personal internet connection. They either use one at work or they have to visit an Internet café. The charges for using the Internet are between 4 – 10 UHA per hour (1-3 USD). So bear that in mine, because for them is very expensive and not for us. Salaries in Ukraine are very poor and women work for around 100 US Dollars a month, not enough to buy decent food for their home.
CREATING A PROFILE. When creating a profile all questions are standard and easy to answer but you will find two sections, which you have to be prepared.
Description About yourself. I suggest you prepare a short message and save it in your PC, in the special file you have created - Finding a woman.
Here is what I have written about myself:
“I am a mature man of 61 years old, easy going, enjoy talking, flirting, having a laugh and I have a good sense of humour. I am independent with my own transport, apartment and I love travelling. My children are married and live their own life.
Looking for:
I would like to meet ladies from Ukraine or Russia and I would consider to travel and meet them in their country. I only want to meet ladies without children commitments. If they have children, should be grown up, because I do not want any more children, so we can enjoy our life together.
She must speak adequate English. Age should be over 40 years old.
So what are you waiting for…get in touch. “Keep it simple, be honest and give a good concise description of yourself.
Avoid writing in a complicate English language and don’t try to impress the woman by talking about your financial situation and how well off you are. Don’t try to project your self in a better light and impressive way from what you really are.
Ukrainian women are very clever and don’t fall for that! At the end of the day if your acquaintance progress to something more you will have to live with your lies and in my experience is better not to lie or exaggerate and then having to think what to answer to impertinent questions from your new prospective partner or wife in the future.
Once you done that choose a recent photo of yours or more if you want but make sure the size is not large. Normally they allow you to upload pictures, which are less than 100 KB and 100 X 100 pixel.
A friend of mine, made a very good point that he will not consider going out with any woman who can not speak English and I agree with him. Having married before to an English woman and been on the other side, personally I make some allowances but I will not start any relationship with any woman who can only communicate by using an on line translator or a dictionary all the time. More about it later.
If you start reading the women’s profiles on the agencies sites you will noticed that most of them say some English able to communicate without dictionary. Now that is rubbish as the woman, if you ever meet her, you will discover she can’t say a word in English.
Read what she says about herself and you will realise that all descriptions are nearly the same. They are all enjoy sports, theatre and love nature etc. Of course Ukrainian women are, mostly, well educated but how many can afford to go often to the theatre or the opera, disco or a good restaurant? A woman who speaks good English will have a good description of herself and you will notice the difference, in her writing from the standard ones.
It has been mentioned before that only the New Generation in Ukraine is learning English, so women from 21 – 35 expect to speak English and I am pushing a bit the upper limit. There are extremely few women over that age, who can speak any English. Now if you can speak Russian or Ukrainian, which I doubt, then you will have no problem.
Time to create your profile on a FREE of subscription website.
There are several FREE dating sites where you can create your own profile and have direct communication with women. There are some which use Russian language only but with the use of an on line translator you can find your way around and post your profile in ENGLISH.

Don’t worry reading the introduction about the Agency. Just register and create your profile. You may have to wait for 1-2 days to get your activation number but in the mean time enter as a guest and make a search with your criteria. You probably be surprised to find out that most of the women display their direct e-mail.
Be aware that most of the women have not their own digital camera and rely on professional photographers to get their photos. Now these photographers tent to make women to pose very sexily, some show their legs, boobs etc and of course they are well prepared with makeup faces. The reality is different, so you have to wait to find out how honest and how old these photos are.
Last May when I went to Crimea I met a woman, whose profile is advertised by an agency based there. If you could see her photo, even now, she looks very young and of course very sexy, stating that her age is 46 and she speaks good English.
Before I was introduced to her I paid my 5 Dollars to the agency (for her e-mail address, which we had agreed) and I met the woman in a bar with the presence of the agent. She was nothing like the photos I had seen on the side and older then my grandmother. As about her English not even a word, luckily I know Privet, which is hello in Russian.
To be courteous I bought both women a drink and then proceeded talking to her via the interpreter. When I finish the drink I found an excuse and left. The fun is that the agent asked me for 20 USD for her translation….. which I refused to pay, reminding her of her lies in our correspondence, where she assured me that the woman speaks good English. My taxi driver, a very reliable chap, was waiting there for me, so I got in and left. He knew the agent and told me No good……so we went for a good fish dinner in Balaclava.
Small advice: Now that you have created your profile and made a search, before sending any messages, save the women’s profiles in your preference File. When you finish your search go to your preference file and start studying the profiles very carefully and discard those who do not fit your criteria. I would suggest you prepare a nice small happy message for your first e-mail to women and save it, so when you receive your activation number and your profile is public then you can start e-mailing the women and don’t forget to include your profile number for them.
You are at the start of your search for an honest Ukrainian or Russian woman, who could become your partner and wife in future, so it is better you prepare your self in advance, so when you get a reply to your messages you are ready.
Prepare a more detailed message about your self, choose some more recent photos to have ready and if you know how to create a personal web site, then make one, as it will help you not to have to write about yourself time after time. Your personal website will also help you to identify easily those women who speak English, as when they reply you will know if they visited your site and understood all about yourself.
I think you have plenty to think of and do for now to prepare yourself for the long trip in finding an
HONEST REAL WOMAN from Ukraine. PART 2When you receive your activation e-mails is time to make the second move. Log on to the site and go through your list. I am sure by now your curiosity kept you busy and you have checked all the women’s profiles on the site and have created a good list in your preference file.
Make sure that the women have visited the site recently as you may waste your time and the woman has gone elsewhere or found another man.
Start e-mailing to the women you like and if they have their direct e-mail on their profiles, use that one and tell them where you found their profile. For sure they are registered in other sites too, and communicate with other men also. You are not the only one who can do that, they also play the dating game too, so is better to remind them where you saw their profile.
Soon you will start receiving several e-mails and there you go. At the beginning you should always check their profile, name etc with the Russian scammers site so you do not waste your time.

Be prepared to communicate with these women for some time, before you take the next step. It is very important to get to know each other as better as you can, so when you meet it will be very easy for you to break the ice and feel comfortable with each other.
As time goes by and your correspondence is getting more frequent try to remember to ask the woman to send you some recent photos with her family or friends. If she has children that is a nice excuse to ask to see a photo of them together with her. If she is genuine then she will have no hesitation of doing so. If you see that you are communicating well ask her if she has a telephone at home or a mobile number. Try to phone and talk to her. She will be very pleased with that and probably excited too.
Please try to remember that using the Internet café is costing lots of money to her, so find an excuse to ask her home address and then post her some money. It does not have to be a huge amount but enough to cover her expenses. She will appreciate that and make it a surprise. Be aware that post is going missing in Ukraine so send only Registered post and cover the presence of money inside your parcel well.
Try to have communication with 2-3 or more women so when time comes for you to travel to Ukraine you can arrange to see them all, while there, but my suggestion is keep the number small, like 2-3 and all in different towns. It is important when you go to Ukraine to spend 4-5 days with each one, so you have time to get to know each woman well enough.
Avoid going to her house or town the first night. Arrange to meet in larger towns and book separate rooms at the hotel as they will appreciate your serious intentions. Don’t worry about test driving them in the sex department. If they like you for sure they will move to your room to show you their good intentions.
While visiting Ukraine to meet women, why don’t you organise it in such a way so you can have a holiday time too. For example go to Crimea for 5-6 days and invite her to join you there, or go to Odessa and do the same. Kiev is nice large town but I don’t think you will find it romantic, but is convenient for meetings, as a break in Odessa and Crimea. Go to Lviv or Kharkiv or other places. Make sure you don’t meet her ONLY in her environment but away from it too. Be on your own and talk, have good touring around and have fun. I did that in Crimea, Odessa and Lviv and had a good time.
Don’t show off with your money and always ask her where does she like to go for lunch or dinner. Ukrainian women don’t eat that much, like the American ones, so she is not going to break your bank. If you enjoy her company and you like her buy some flowers (always remember the number of flowers to be an odd number) or some other small presents.
Remember Ukrainian women are secretive (the old Soviet mentality) and takes time to open them up to talk with you freely. If they offer to have sex with you DON’T take that as a sign that they are falling in love with you or that they are prostitutes and easy women.
If they happen to like you let them take the initiative. That is a calculated risk that some women take to make sure that you are pleased with them or to show you their appreciation for your good treatment of them.
No they are not prostitutes or sluts! Just normal human persons. Maybe they want to test your manly prowess and see if you are compatible in bed. You would want to know that too, wouldn’t you?
It takes two to tango so if you think they are sluts then you are one too! It is also a way to progress your relationship further so enjoy it, say thank you make sure they are satisfied and happy and take them out for a good dinner. Don’t be selfish!
IMPORTANT. Never send them any money for any reason apart for the money mentioned before. If you need them to travel by train or airplane to meet you then pay a travel agent for her ticket and ask them to post it to her house. Of course when you meet them you compensate them for any additional money they have spent to come and meet you.
Remember they are very poor and made the decision to sacrifice themselves, family network and friends to come and live with you for bettering their lives. I am sure in due time they will fall in love with you but that mostly depends on your behaviour!Back home is time to reflect and make a decision which one to continue further.
Take your time, visit Ukraine again and again, get to know and trust them before you ask her to marry you. Now if you reach to this stage then ask here for a more informed advice how to go about it and what papers etc you need to provide. There are other people better informed than me to help you out and this site is a mine of information.
Of course it will cost you money for traveling expenses and other things but this way of going about, you could save you a lot. I heard that the agencies charge 10 USD to translate your letter, so think how many letters you will have write to her, before your fist meeting?
In another post, somebody said that Communication is paramount for a good relationship.
I will add that this is solely the main reason why marriages fall apart, and without good communication you are prone to failure!
