TOURIST VISA AUSTRALIA

So we were told by my GF's agent in Moscow that we should not apply for ProspectiveMvisa as we've been together for 2months only. We are now trying to get a tourist visa but she doesn't work at the moment. Her father is willing to help us but not sure if only his deposit of cash will be enough as he doesn't have a bank account :/ .
We wanted to know if anyone has had success getting a tourist visa for OZ and how'd u guys go about it.

Hi Juggy--lots of info on forum from Aussie guys-- there is a few threads with info to help.Some recent changes make your request easier-especially if you have the ability to secure her compliance.
Look at immi site-- read it carefully before filling in anything!!

but we already know about all this and have an agent to help us too in moscow
our only concern is Funds....how someone with success got to show them and how old were they and the technical bits
