I see a lot of FONT, SIZE and COLOR tags within the quote that are not original to it. Did you try to "embellish" it? Quotes shoudn't be messed with, it creates havoc within the whole post. Maybe it's a safeguard against altering them ?

Nope but I notice if I cut-n-paste from anything I typed in and change the word order (I make constant mistakes in my sentence structure) the type always goes smaller and then everything after that does too. Right before I send it it looks fine. None of these [ but after words what a mess. Perhaps this is trap Dan set up so people couldn't play games with other printed resources?

I remember now that such messes may also be caused by having the WYSIWYG editor enabled: check if it is in your profile under "Look and Layout" (Show WYSIWYG editor on post page by default), and disable it if on.
