Interesting Editorial

A rather lengthy editorial with some history as well as current events in Eastern Ukraine.   Looking into Putins mind....
I am rather curious what Bo and some of our other educated history buffs think of the editorial.

Unfortunately the first alinea already is incorrect.
Medvedev has said in an interview that he did not contact Putin before making the decisions, as he did not need to.

But looking at the source I am not surprised.
