It is a nice example of how the Blog tool can be VERY interesting to chronicle one's thoughts - or travels - or whatever.

Also note - if the author allows it, you can post comments to each Blog entry. Not the same as a Discussion Forum - and a nice way to contribute your comments to the author's Blog.
