Generation Love Dating Site
« on: January 05, 2016, 07:04:09 AM »
Hello everyone,

I am new to the whole FSU dating game.
I am on high alert reading about stories of scams on dating sites.
I have registered with Generation Love dating site. It is a pay per letter service. I have been in contact with a couple of girls who seem genuine.
I have been advised to move on to email or Skype to remove the payments from our communication.

I would like to hear from anybody who has experience with this site. What are your thoughts??
I have been trawling the internet to get some reviews but not many out there.

So if you have any feedback it would be great! Thanks in advance.

Welcome to RWD clonguish

Just the fact that it is a pay per letter site is not good. But, that doesn't mean the women or the site are scammers. My advice is to not wait on any reviews. Get away from the pay per letter site as soon as possible. If you're already charmed by one or two of the women. Get their contact information, Skype, email, phone number. If they don't want to give or get it to you then, you have your answer. The idea is to have direct communication with ladies you are interested in as soon as possible. That means with no one else involved as in, no middle man. Any woman that is seriously contemplating meeting you for a possible relationship wants that to happen as well.

Good Luck!

Thanks Faux Pas.
I am seeking their personal contact details. It will reveal a lot.
They both have poor English and I think they may will stay on the site as they need the translation service.
However there are plenty on online translation services like Google translate which they can avail of!
Thanks for your advice)

It's a pay by the letter site. I recommend not using a pay by the letter site.
There is too much temptation for the local agency to send you letters on behalf
of the girl. There is a decent chance that the girl you are writing has no idea who
you are and that you are exchanging letters with the agency translator named
Ivan or Boris. Consider the money you've spent so far as tuition to the school
of hard knocks.

If you are interested in one of the girls you might use her name and birthday to
and city to see if you can find her on vk.com or mamba.ru  and send her a note.
Don't be too surprised if she doesn't know who you are.

Here is a link on how to get started with more reliable agencies and there are a
some good tips on how to get started.

Yeah, ah no. Even a FSUW that hasn't one single shred of English speaking ability will know how to translate communication into something fairly recognizable. You have that ability, too. You are correct about online translators and there are other methods when in person.

The thrust of my point was, if they really want to communicate with "you", they will. They don't need a PPL site to do that. Any woman that insists that she does, forget her and move along to another. They are most generally being used to bait you into staying on the site

Just to confirm, one of the girls sent me their email address. Will have a bit of work with translations but it seems to be a step in the right direction!! I hope :)

That is certainly a move in a positive direction and means that she does want to get to know more about you. Online translators are handy, in a pinch but they are flawed. Communication is slow and not mistake free. You might want to find one of the vendors that do translations for a better translation. I haven't used it but I understand Skype has a pretty good translation software for the instant written word. Look into your options. Chances are, she knows someone with relatively decent English to help her.

Keep in mind this doesn't mean that she has fell to the floor with her legs in the air and hopes of marrying you. Only that she wants to know more about you and explore. But, she likes what she's seen so far.

Good Luck!

At the very beginning of my journey I registered on a PPL site called ladies.1st. I googled them and did not find any alarm bells and did not know the difference from one site to the next. Found a few nice ladies and got their e-mail address but they always used translation as an excuse to spend 90% of their time on the site. One was a great writer. Sent pictures etc on e mail but kept saying she had a contract etc so had to stay on the site. I now know the error of my ways. The point being use this forum and believe what people tell you about PPL.

There are girls who are still on HRB RLM from when I was a newbie 9-10 years ago.
The girl below from Odessa still doesn't know any English after being on the site a
decade (she uses the same photos too)

This girl used to live in Yalta but must have moved to Odessa since Yalta is in Crimea.

Yes, if she wants to talk to you off site that's a good indicator. If she wants to talk only
onsite then it's a very bad indicator. Exchange a few emails, talk to her on the phone
even if it's only a few words and phrases and then get her on Skype.

PS.

There are a few members here that could do a three was Skype call for you. Eduard or
Anastassia Ash are both native Russian speakers and have very finely tuned BS detectors.
You might arrange this before meeting in person to make sure that there are no
misunderstandings etc.

I think times have changed, getting email addresses don't mean as much as they used to. To me, it is a lateral/standing still move. Too many girls are just sending feelers out...... and watch out for the bad times
coming. Its a real issue in Ukraine with so many families/girls moving into other parts of Ukraine with little
going on in their lives(ex. work, place to live)...who is being honest and who is lying.

Would have been great to ask her about her 'intentions'!!!

Hi folks, mixed reactions.... We've both written a couple of emails and used software translation which givesa  fairly close interpretation of the intended message. She said she will continue to email me but said she would like if we could use the agency site once a week because the aid of the translator gives the true colour and meaning to the message we intend.

I think that is a fairly clear indication that she is in some sort of contract with the agency to keep my few pound rolling in.

Yes that is the same story I got. I have now met a beautiful woman who I am marrying next month. She uses Google translator and with a little patience everything works out fine. Thousands of letters, msg, and skype. Find a subscription site before you think you have feelings for this lady.

And you met your lady offa  subscription site Sous?
I joined ElenasModels yday.
It's just the chance that she may actually be genuine which makes me think that I'm being too judgemental too quickly. We all learn best from our own experience no matter how hard that experience is.
However, after all that talk Sous, my gut says save my money and leave her ))

a subscription site called bridesandlovers. No site is perfect. Somehow my name ended up on Elena's even though I never joined. Really I encourage you to move. If not watch for this. Hard to get an email reply but her replies via the agency are relatively quick and often. I should have known better but I thought I had the one honest one in what I soon realized was a sea of fake profiles.

When you find the right one she will follow you to Skype, Viber, google translater, whatsapp or facebook. Just as you will do whatever it takes if she is really interested she will follow.

Be careful Sous......some people here don't like bridesandlovers!!!! :wallbash: Because of the owner of the site.
And you spoke poorly of EM........who many here recommend.

I have no problem with bridesandlovers site, in fact thanks to the owner, he has given me a few years free subscription. ;)

I get that. I am not recommending one over the other just answering tithe op's question. Other than somehow ending up on elena's site without ever registering I have no other experience.

Not so much the recommending as the mentioning!!! :o

I only mentioned about the free subscription because it may be something Clonguish might be interested in.

You hesitate  over some degree of emotional investment
in a person whom you have never met, who in all likely hood is compensated for being in contact with you.

I'd try and look at the bigger picture?
If it was some random girl from small town Nebraska, who acted flakey about emailing you , a phone call, or skype,it's doubtful you'd be  invested in the situation enough to really care at all and move on without a second thought. Any signs of flakyness you'd just bail.

I can almost assure you the girl in Ukraine is not any different, and if flaky at all, has reason to be.(likely reasons not good for you,
after all what ones would be?)

This gets back to don't fall in love (or lust) with any photo , from anywhere :)
