Interpol put Ukraine's ex-president Viktor Yanukovych, ex-prime minister Mykola Azarov, and other former officials on the wanted list.


This was announced by Ukraine's Interior Minister Arsen Avakov on his Facebook page, Censor.NET.


"Today, after months after the inquiry was filed in March 2014, argumentation and explanatory, according to a prepared query by Ukraine's Interior Ministry, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, and the Security Service, a special commission of Interpol came to a decision. The following persons were added to the international wanted list of Interpol (red card -arrest for extradition to Ukraine): Viktor Yanukovych, Olexandr Yanukovych, Mykola Azarov, Raisa Bogatyriova, Yurii Kolobov (former Minister of Finance), Heorhii Dzekon (Former head of Ukrtelecom)," Avakov wrote.

"We continue to cooperate with the Interpol regarding other accused persons," the minister added.
