You want freedom of speech in Russia but not freedom of speech for Russia on the world stage? That's nice. Yes, more isolation, less dialogue and efforts to make peace is what the world needs, is that it?

I don't think Russia could defeat the US in Ukraine.

There are thousands of both dead Russian and Ukrainians and more dying everyday because of his acts. He can stop the killing. Do you deny there is killing of soldiers and civilians in Ukraine?

There are no Fascists killing and eating babies in Ukraine. The propaganda is wrong. Ukraine has a right to self determination without Putin's interference. Putin's only saving grace so far is a very weak U.S. President. That won't last forever.

I don't have a side in this conflict. I'm neither anti-Russian or anti Ukraine. I am anti-murder and that is what's going on there. I do not agree with much of any of the chest pounding rhetoric in these threads. Who can stop the death and destruction? The same one that started it, presently but, that may not be the case in the near future. God help us all if the situation becomes more complicated than that.

Just to make it more clear (I doubt AM board member are capable to understand it)- it is my Motherland, I am not selling it (no way), Putin being it's President who stands for his country.

I agree Putin stands for his country but I disagree that he's taking Russia in the right direction and if he's a thief, the biggest thief in the world, Russians should be very worried in putting their future in Putin's hands. Putin's popularity is in 80's. Obama's popularity is in the 40's and Hollande's popularity was in the 20's before the terrorist attacks in France. Is Putin doing a better job than the leaders in the West or do the people in the West hold our leaders to higher standards and judge them harsher? In America, based on his actions, Putin would be impeached before he could finish a term.
