Yeah, right, whole world is a bunch of fools. And Council of Europe’s Committee is at all bunch of idiots. Could you imagine they demand russian troops to be withdrawn from Ukraine while russian troops do not exist in Ukraine? How daft they can be!

As I said, Shadow, if it makes you feel better - lie to yourself as much as you like.
But have a shame in trying to tell those lies publicly. Innocent people died and dying every day because of russian h**lo

MsA--you are not appreciating how much more he knows than everyone else about all this-- this is the guy that gets his info from a few social media sites!!! The sheer ridiculousness of the conclusions only serves to highlight the extent of Kremlin lies. The arrogance of this guy in thinking that his sources are unique--let alone more accurate is truly comical. He persists in trying to tell us black is white-- with totally warped ideas and conclusions.

And this is also not russian soldiers wiping out Ukrainian village. Its russians on vacation in Ukraine! Lovely suntan, don't you think?

One of Putin's problems appears to be that he is not technologically minded - there are so many stories about how he doesn't have (can't use?) a computer or any social media profile.  Although the latter is not really a problem as far as I'm concerned, and whether or not it's true doesn't matter either, but he has totally failed to realise just how far the rest of the world has progressed - and that includes his own soldiers, who totally undermine his carefully-scripted denials of involvement in Ukraine by posting amazing photos and videos on their own social media pages (plus YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and every other similar website), all showing their brave deeds in Ukraine.  Can Medvedev and the rest of the inner council not convince him that so much evidence mounting against Russia can do only harm to their country and, by extension, to their Dear Leader?

The longer he leaves his troops in Ukraine, and the more of them that return as "Cargo 200," the higher the chance of the general public becoming aware of a situation which, so far, appears to be known by a only very small percentage of Russian people other than the mothers of the dead soldiers.

Doll, you should have asked them what "a better life" means.  Maybe to them buying big screen televisions is considered better.

For some, it is pretty funny how they consider their life the best but have to go out of country to get themselves a wife.  For quite a few, a wife that can't even speak the same language.

Maybe a better life is being married and divorced 3 or 4 times.

Agree.

May not be any longer relevant to Putin and his lying-- but think of the forum space wasted by the pro-rus apologists in attempting to paint the Russian invasion and Russian complicity as something else.
Out of Putins mouth-- confirmation of what many here believed and said at the time. It is not taking long for some truths to come out and be confirmed-- sort of leaves the forum fools in mid air!!

Putin was surprised at how easily Russia took control of Crimea
MOSCOW — Russian President Vladimir Putin personally directed his nation’s capture of Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula, he said in a documentary aired Sunday, in which he offered details of his deep involvement in last year’s quick and effective takeover.

Putin said that Russia had flooded the Black Sea peninsula with special forces officers in the days after President Viktor Yanukovych fled Kiev in February 2014, and Putin said that the success of the precision operation surprised even him. With Kiev in chaos, Putin said, he was ready at the time to put Russia’s nuclear forces on alert.

The more than two-hour-long documentary, called “Crimea: Path to the Homeland,” offered new details about Putin’s actions between Yanukovych’s late-night escape from Ukraine’s capital on Feb. 21, 2014, and Russia’s annexation of Crimea less than four weeks later. Russia is planning celebrations this week to mark the March 18 anniversary of the annexation, and the lavishly financed film was a kickoff.

The blog post at the link is worth reading -

Quote
A recently released German documentary about Vladimir Putin—Mensch Putin!—paints a decidedly unflattering picture of Russia’s leader. He is, according to the film, a disturbingly insecure man with a deeply rooted need to compensate for his inadequacies with manifestations of physical prowess and the exercise of power. . .

Until recently, Germany’s political culture—and politics—were distinctly, even embarrassingly, pro-Russian and pro-Putin. But no more. Chancellor Angela Merkel says Putin “lives in another world.” The majority of Germany’s intellectuals and pundits are increasingly critical of Putin and his wars. And the ZDF documentary (as well as another, reportedly in production, that features Putin’s war in Ukraine) demonstrates that, while Putin may have gained the hearts and minds of German leftists, he has lost Germany. And that means that he has lost the European Union.

After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

We have not seen any evidence to support this.  If the Harper government's sanctions against Russia are any indication of the West's commitment to Ukraine, these are dark days.

Harper isn't German.

Germany had more business interests in Russia than did any EU country.  To lose Germans, many of whom resisted sanctions completely, says something.

Alright.  Let me be clear.  Look to your own government.

We have seen no evidence that Germans are anything less than pro-Putin.  Merkel made a damn fool out of herself and she has NO ONE to blame but herself.

'It’s like I’ve betrayed someone, fled Ukraine when it was in trouble'

More of Putins handiwork--making a lot of people very unhappy. There is no excuse for Russia in the Crime-- it is all their own doing. The deluded fools like the guy in this story who were stupid enough to be used by Russia to do their dirty work are now seeing the consequences of their stupidity.
Every time I read a story like this-it reminds me of the fools on the forums who are still rationalising Russian actions-despite the obvious back then-- and the admitted lies and deceptions back then.

Crimeans Who Ushered in the Russians Now Have to Live With Their Choice
'It’s like I’ve betrayed someone, fled Ukraine when it was in trouble'

Yevgeny Repenkov, a soccer coach and local celebrity in Sevastopol, co-founded one of the “self-defense” units that helped Russia and pro-Kremlin rebels expel the Ukrainian government and military a year ago. He says he sometimes feels uneasy about having participated in what he calls a revolution.
“It’s like I’ve betrayed someone, fled Ukraine when it was in trouble,” he says.
Ethnic Russians in Crimea who cheered Vladimir Putin's annexation of the Crimean peninsula in March of 2014 are beginning to see what their victory means.
A few months ago, the pro-Russian majority in Crimea was still raving about higher salaries and pensions. Those gains have been eaten away by inflation that has reached 42 percent. A kilogram, or 2.2 pounds, of potatoes in Sevastopol costs the equivalent of 64¢, while it still goes for 22¢ in Kiev, Ukraine's capital.
Changing nationality wasn’t Coach Repenkov’s plan when he and his friends rose up against the Ukrainian government that came to power after protesters in Kiev deposed President Viktor Yanukovych. Yanukovych had spurned closer ties with the European Union to align Ukraine with Russia.
“Many things were better in Ukraine than in Russia, which for us was more like paradise lost,”  Repenkov says.

Important post.  I wonder if the Novorossiya half men have stories blowing the horn of Putin.
