Delta resumes non-stop flights

Earlier this year Delta halted direct, non-stop, flights to Moscow from popular departure cities such as JFK, instead routing travelers via Amsterdam on KLM or via Paris on Air France. While they claimed that the reason was financial, the twice daily JFK-SVO flights were always full.

As of June 1, Delta will resume daily non-stops between JFK and SVO (Moscow).

I liked KLM but the return flight left SVO at 4:30 am. No thanks. I have used Delta almost exclusively in the past but when there was trouble with the connecting flight out of Chicago to JFK horrible problems followed.

I will avoid Chicago and O'Hare like it was deadly virus!!!! As any other 'airborne' disease, it can easily affect many other cities rather quickly.

Anybody know if Delta is or will be resuming non stop flights from JFK to Kiev anytime soon?

That's good news. I'm seeing JFK-SVO on DL on May 26 (2016) for less money than Aeroflot for the equivalent non-stop. Nothing to end of schedule on DL to KBP though.
