Male/female disparity leading to problems and international relationships

I'm not talking about fsu. I'm talking about China. As many of you know, several decades ago the Chinese Communist Party decided that to curb the country's growing population it would limit families to one child. Most chinese families prefer a son to a daughter. Many girl babies were sent to orphanages. Many were aborted. This has resulted in China having more guys than girls. An imbalance like this causes problems.

Now the Chinese have responded by enacting a law forbidding Chinese females from marrying foreigners:

The Supreme People’s Court of China today passed legislation that will ban Chinese women from marrying non-Chinese men, with the law coming into effect at the beginning of 2018. The policy had been fiercely debated for a number of months before it finally won approval from the required number of legislators earlier today. Civil rights groups in China have condemned the restriction, pointing out that it discriminates against women by still permitting males to enter into interracial marriages.

I particularly liked this bit, “Because we have such a shortage of women in China, we need to make sure Chinese men have as many opportunities as possible to find a bride.”

Industry groups representing expat English teachers have criticized the new law, saying that they won't be able to keep teachers there long if they cannot marry Chinese girls.

A thriving industry has arisen introducing Vietnamese and Thai girls to Chinese guys.

I've also read about some RW in the country's Far East marrying Chinese guys.

It's interesting to think about the comparison between marriage in China vs. marriage in fsu countries.

In this article a Western woman complains that they can't find Chinese men for a
serious relationship, and it's not fun. With the shortage of women you would think
that they wouldn't have a problem
