Cheap Ukraine tour : 250$ for two week

I am member from the Ruslana Fan Club and i have receive the following e-mail :

Dear Ruslana fans,
 
If you like mountains, you are welcome to join the members of the Ukrainian Ruslana fan club in
their excursion to the Carpathians in August for two weeks! (from the 7th till the 23rd).

The program is expected to be very exciting and includes about ten places of interest, like:

1) The "historical" places of Ruslana's video shootings.
2) Goverla (the highest top of the Ukrainian Carpathians - 2061m), 4 hours of climbing by feet.
3) "The lost world" - villages hidden high in the mountains, inhabited by Hutsuls' - the folk which
    follows ancient traditions and inspired Ruslana on her Wild Dances project.
4) L'viv - Ruslana's home town (full of ancient architecture and video shooting places).
5) Several other excursions to nearby places of interest by feet and by bus (up to 100km away).
 
We will be guided by a local girl all the way through our trip. The total price is about $250 for two
weeks (if one chooses to stay in a hotel with all facilities and meals in its restaurant). Travelling by
train from Kiev and the excursions are included in the price.
 
The price is very relative; there are possibilities of more modest staying conditions, but the facilities
are not guaranteed. The price includes everything except travelling to Ukraine and personal expenses
like souvenirs etc.

So, for 250$, you have the hotel, food, railroad from Kiev and visit... who have say that Ukraine is expensive

I have to say that even assuming the worst for accommodation it looks like a good deal and an interesting trip.

But 14 days with a horde of Ruslana fans might make even $250 seem expensive!

Not sure that everybody who have register is a Ruslana fans... Myself, i have register only for download the video clip for my collection !

Coco, July and Augustus are two month where i am not able take holiday, too much busy in the garden !

I have been twice now in the Carpathians,well not the Ukrainian the Romanian.It is well worth the travel .
Out standing landscapes,fascinating cultures.
I am sure this Ruslana trip will be great,anyway the fan can not be worst then the spice girls fan.

Having grown up in a travel agent's family, the next time I take a packaged tour would be to admire the ice floes that had recently infested hell.
