What Hairstyle?
« on: January 07, 2017, 09:18:28 AM »
So ok this may be one of the more unusual topics and its definitely one where I haven't got scamming on my mind at least ;) So, I was wondering what sort of hairstyle might be best in the FSU where dating girls from there. I've heard that most of the local men tend to go for shorter hair, that women there prefer it, in fashion, etc. Now I'm not the skinhead type but too be honest I often feel that the more longer my hair gets the more messy/unkempt it looks. Now I'm guessing a lot of you guys will say hairstyle doesn't matter as long as its neat and well kept. I'm thinking though that for me even slightly longer hair tends to look a little messy for me, its ok when done at the salon but I generally just don't find the time to keep it up looking decent.

So should I just go for a shorter do? Do FSW prefer a shorter hairstyle on guys or with foreigners do they prefer longer?

Apologies to any fat balding US guys that don't have this as an issue ;D

Personally, I'd just do the haircut you like best!  Hair is probably a pretty small factor in a woman's decision, regardless of where she lives....although certain individual woman like certain styles...I just wouldn't get very wrapped up in it.  I'm sure you like a certain style, so wear it proudly!

One thing for sure is that all 417,361 FSUW like hair cut and styled the same way.

In the FSUW you will find women who can do advanced calculus in their
heads and you will find women who have difficulty counting to twenty
without using their toes. Some can sing like a choir of angels while
others sing and make the neighbors dog cry. Some girls can create a
culinary masterpiece while still others set off the smoke alarm boiling
water for tea.

Some are the sweetest and most honest girls on Earth and others will
steal the gold in their grandmothers dentures. Some girls can speak 9
languages and others can barely speak one.

There really are all types of women in Russia. Having said that in my opinion
most like short, well kept hair growing from the head and as little hair as
possible growing from nostrils and ears. A better question might be how
they like their men groomed below the neck.  :D

Udachi!

IMHO, you should spend more time 'grooming' the cells that are alive, instead of the dead ones. 2tall is right...for every gal you attract with long/short hair, is one gal you just lost on.

Actually, there is a clear preference from majority of FSU women that men have short, neat hair . . . at least on their heads.

Further . . . it is sort of funny that although men/women of any particular culture may have complaints about the women/men in their culture . . . they nevertheless prefer that the men/women in the new culture 'look and dress' a lot like the men/women in their first culture.  Maybe this is more true of the women than the men.

For instance, I have heard and read many times from many sources that the FSU women want we Americans to dress like European men.  Many even encourage us to wear dark clothes like FSU men.  They usually like those black leather jackets and black cars.

And, as I said, they like those short, neat haircuts.

Very true. My wife likes short hair and so does most of the FSU women I've dated. After the occasional haircut, I get compliments instead of complaints on why I cut my hair. Most FSU women want their man looking professional over someone that likes things growing wild.

For instance, I have heard and read many times from many sources that the FSU women want we Americans to dress like European men.  Many even encourage us to wear dark clothes like FSU men.  They usually like those black leather jackets and black cars.

Also true. I've seen American men go to the FSU wearing sneakers, t-shirts, overalls, and ball caps. Compared to European men who are on the plane dressed in stylish Italian shoes, shirts and slacks, guess who the women will prefer? Occasionally I recommend guys to make an appointment with a professional who improve their wardrobe before visiting their woman.

There are guys that go through life saying "I'm going to be who I want to be and everybody has to accept me for the way I am!" They are clueless to why people don't receive them as well as their competition. If a guy likes the company of women, it doesn't hurt to make adjustments to what they like.

Short , neat hair would be preferred by most women in FSU. To successfully compete with RM in the appearance department ,  WM do not need to make much efforts since RM are the ugliest accounting to BeautifulPeople.com  http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2355868,00.asp

Many even encourage us to wear dark clothes like FSU men.  They usually like those black leather jackets and black cars.

Jeans has to be darker colors; they do not have to be black though. Dark blue or gray will look good too. The best cars are those that are clean and expensive; the color is irreverent. If FSU people liked black cars, the majority of cars  on streets of FSU would be black. But it is not so.

Black leather jackets were in fashion when I was 12 -14 y.o Unless you want to impress a women after 45 y.o, I would not recommend  to wear a leather jacket. Sports jackets are good as on a picture below.

You mentioned that after your hair gets to be a certain length it becomes messy. Don't let it get to that length. And get a haircut before every trip to FSU.

Yeah, I'll try to do that. I think for sure though a bit of a shorter hairstyle than usual will help. I never have it real long - nowhere near shoulder length or anything. Just that my hair gets slightly wavy as it gets longer and tends to lose any style it once had.

I still can't get used to a huge number of people in untidy crumpled clothes, with unkempt hair and huge shovel or goat beard with stuck leftovers. And all they are relatively young people, not homeless drug addicts.

Thanks for the help vwrw, its good to have the opinion of a lady on here, a you a real Russian lady? or just presently out that way. Well the jacket pictured looks nice but perhaps look more like a regular jacket than a sports jacket to me, perhaps that's just me. I've worn a black jacket to the Ukraine on my two previous journeys pretty similar to the one you've pictured. Seems to go down well enough, though sometimes I wonder if I need to look more butch looking.

So you are going to try being a Lesbian to attract some gals?

Could work with some wanting something different in their lives.

The bearded look has taken hold among the young hipsters here. I don't care for it either.

Trenchcoat,

Trench, mate

IF a lady is in to you - she may even try 'a make-over' for you ..

In my time I've worn a natural ingredients face mask, had my hair cut shorter, grown it in a mullet-style from the late 70's and worn clothes that made me look like a 'new Russian' - all black

I've had my Wife give away my tweed jackets to charity - too 'British'  and after ALL this I still wear checked shirts, bright shirts, brogues, biz suits and dress how I want most days...

IMHO you are STILL worrying too much and not being yourself ..
