Which Email Do You Use?

Years ago, I created a profile on A-Date.  I used a different name as I really was more interested in seeing the number of solicitations I would get than using the profile for actually meeting women.  I set up a new email in order to protect the inbox of my business and personal accounts. 

Over the years, I hadn't checked this email often, but had a thought to check it today.  I was amazed.  A-Date had sold my email to everyone under the sun.  I was solicited by no less than 14 MOB sites.  How did I know that A-Date was the perp?  Because all of the contact from these MOB sites used the fictitious name I made up. 

I have not been on A-Date for the past few years but I have the feeling that since it was sold back around 2012, it has been on a downward trend.

As a side note, most of the women that I have corresponded with that I actually was interested in have created email accounts only for contact from the MOB sites as well.

I, too, set up a separate email address for my FSUW search (it's the same address I use for RWD ).  Never had a problem with my "real" email addresses, but boy, there are some weird and wonderfuls that have popped up in the other one!

I also used a separate email - until I found someone I really wanted to speak with - but NEVER used a false name - when ladies do THAT - they are scammers..it is a 'red flag', right ....?

I used to use a company domain I own and give potential suppliers at trade shows  the email address ' yourcompanyname@mycompanyname.com  '   and it was shocking how many firms sold on my email address and how easy it was to trace the firm doing it ...

Nowadays, Google and the likes offer aliases and these can have folders.  One doesn't need many THAT many email addies..

SC had a different one for the dating sites she was on, so it is a trick used by ladies, too
