Russian threatens USA and Nato countries regarding Black Sea

Russia has warned it will “harshly suppress” any attempt by Nato warships to enter a flashpoint area off Crimea, after the US said the military alliance should act to ensure the free passage of Ukrainian vessels.

Officials in Moscow reacted sharply today after Kay Bailey Hutchison, US representative to Nato, said Washington was proposing a new package of measures to tackle Russian “meddling” in the Black Sea region.

“If you try to stage a provocation under the pretext that Crimea is not ours and to break through the Russian border in violation of international norms, all such attempts of Ukrainian, US, or anyone else’s ships will be harshly suppressed,”

Whilst I realise China - like the Kremlin - are ignoring - respectively - arbitration rulings  and vetoing 13:1 UN Security council rulings - please tell us what 'action' China has done to stop US, Australian, UK ships ( example ) demonstrating the point that the waters around The Spratleys aren't international ?
