This is a welcome change - Russian Federation and Belarus will acknowledge reciprocal visas. It should make direct travel between the countries easier:

Just trying to work out the quickest/cheapest way to get a visa if visiting both countries. A visa on arrival in Minsk may be a good option.

Unfortunately the "five eyes" countries will not be part of the Russian evisa program in 2021 which is a pain in the butt.

1/ I don't think the BY visa on arrival will benefit.. it expressly forbids leaving BY by any other route ... ..but happy to be proven wrong ..

2/ The tass link I found points out the both nations can refuse entry to a foreign citizen , even if t'other has admitted them.
