Bill & Melinda Gates Divorce
« on: May 10, 2021, 04:47:14 AM »
Well it's been a few days since this story broke now and a few details about it are apparently seeping out:

http://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9558267/amp/Bill-Melinda-Gates-divorce-combo-things-wants-down.html

As you may all recall back in the day Bill Gates was the definition of the architypal nerd/geek but he had a lot of money going for him, billions of dollars in fact and the world largest software giant. Whether he would have found anyone at all had he not had the good fortune to make that deal with IBM back in the day who knows. I've always got the impression that physically he was probably a turn off for most women, it at least not a turn on, the nerd/geek image seems to have been what he was most derided for back in the day often as a source of humour.

You need to stop using everything you see to reinforce the stinkin' thinkin' going on inside
your head. You have to win a girls heart, that's the beginning, the middle and the end. You
have no other options except for failure.

Which is why I strongly believe 'looks' have little to do with anything. Build your confidence, regardless of what seeds it, and you'll be fine, TC. Just don't rub the engine at the starting line too much and too long or you'll just blow a piston and never burn the rubber.

Also, forget Ukraine, buddy. Instead head on out to Germany ASAP. Heaven was just there and dropped off a few angels looking for the right one. It may be 'you' that Alica Schmidt is waiting for.

You'll never know unless you try. I'd LOVE to see her in a sundress.

He set up and run his own charitable foundation, presumably put a lot of his own money in? So I guess he's at least trying to help others out perhaps.

Apparently Bill Gates was known not to have good personal skills/not very charismatic either. He's probably improved a little over time, I get the impression aside from all of that he's probably a nice enough sort of guy. Think he just had most of his skills all in one or two baskets in life, computer stuff, business/intelligence.

I think people can do well for various reasons, confidence, social skills, looks, wealth building ability, etc, etc. If a person hasn't got one of those then they can still do well if they are strong in another. I generally believe in hypergamy though that our subconscious weighs up whether we are roughly even pegging when all is said and done. Getting to know someone comes into it also, probably especially in the long term as people like what they know and often don't like the unknown.

The athlete you mention is pretty hot, I wouldn't mind her :P I don't think I would be clocking up enough hypergamy points though lol.
