Russian women and their loans/debts
« on: July 17, 2023, 12:29:18 PM »
So I've met a few women who have some outstanding debt so they can't fly out from Russia.

I wonder if they drive to Georgia or neighboring friendly former Soviet regions will they have that same problem at the border?

Sounds like the perfect beginning to a William Hogarth sketch :D

really? They have a passport scanner and actually scan people at border crossings?

I have another friend driving to Georgia in a few weeks and we'll see what her experience is.

I had Ukrainian friends leave Russian border to Estonia last year without any issues.

The Russian SSN is coupled with bank and credit data. But only if debts were not paid in time it might be an issueAs Belarus has an economic union, you can pass the border there without passport control and from there take a flight or bus to Estonia. No experience if their passprt scan is linked but might work. If a problem, see advice of Krimster.
No it is not a dog. Its really how I look.  ;)
