Any news on Krim?
« on: September 06, 2023, 08:21:11 AM »
Just wondering if the fella is ok as it's been a while since he last posted and usually does so regularly?

Haven't seen him on the users online panel either this past week or so.

Anyone happen to know of anything? I know it's not easy as users tend to keep themselves fairly private on here. Just kind of been missing his presence on here. I know some of the posters on here are clocking on in age though misfortune can hit at any time so kind of hoping he's still going ok as kind of almost suddenly disappeared. Maybe something cropped up, hopefully not an FBI raid with our Krim not quite keeping a few steps ahead lol.

In all these years on here i've never even spoken with another poster, let alone met any in person.

I did used to speak on the phone regularly with a poster from the other place, who used to divide his wife hunting time between Ukraine and Colombia/Dominican Republic and often invited me to join him on his adventures in South America. However,he spoke fluent Spanish and i don't speak it at all,so i considered it a huge disadvantage for me joining him, although he offered to interpret for me.

One of the funniest things ever was when he was in South America looking for a wife and was on webcam talking with me and i could hear a very distinctive "pinging" tone from a site frequented by dubious Ukrainian women..called Jump4love.The "ping" denoted a chat notification from a woman from that site.
I asked him what the fu*k he was doing paying to chat with Ukrainian women after having paid out to travel to South America from the UK to meet women in person there.
He was bored was his reply ; ))

He did end up marrying a 25 year old Colombian lady...he was in his fifties by then.

I don't know Krim in person, and i don't think anyone does on here,so it's unlikely you'll get any news about him until Krim chooses to give it.

Boy am I glad to hear from you CB, it was getting errilly quiet on here. Thought for a moment I was the only one left on the forum lol :D

Yeah, think a lot of guys use scam sites, they know there a scam but they are a sure thing and fulfills the loneliness need. I don't blame them nor will judge them badly for it as some guys aren't in the best place and it could be anyone, and from what I hear an increasing number of guys in the UK and the west in general these days.

I hope Krim isn't gone for too long he's a real blast on here and has enormous experience, him not being on here is just too big a loss. That and this forum short of a member that contributes so regularly means also it's pretty much just down to the two of us CB lol. Means the forum is seriously in danger of dying. I've seen another forum in the web where last post was a few years ago and a ghost town ever since. Like everyone has left and no one uses it but for some reason it's still up.

Kind of hoping Krim really is ok, my fear is if he has passed on, I really hope not as that would be too awful. He's given me bucket loads of help in this forum over the years and I wouldn't have anything near half a clue without him. Only thing with forums is most of the time we never know if that's the case as often hear nothing more, even though never met in person I hope all is good for Krim.

This COULD be a reason why Krim has stopped posting.

I remember he said members of his Crimean wife's family had been mobilized to fight for the orcs against Ukraine.

IF this is one of the family members it would make things rather awkward for him regarding posting on here.Could even make things awkward for him and his wife within the USA.

The SSU serves notice of suspicion to Crimean traitor who fired at Ukrainian Armed Forces positions near Robotyne -the SSU press service reports.

The SSU military counterintelligence officers and Ukrainian Armed Forces captured him during a firefight near Robotyne village in the Zaporizhzhia region this spring.

The detainee was a resident of Crimea who joined the ranks of the 810th Marine Brigade of the Russian armed forces in November 2022.

Good work CB! Yes it could be something like that, could be Krim's in-law right there :D

Think you're right, think he's in-laws were stationed around that area, Zaporozhye possibly even Robotyne for the upcoming offensive once they finished their ditch digging.

So could be, could be many things I guess, wondered if the in-laws had come to grief so like you say posting here may have not been very sensitive.

Other possibilities could be his past activities coming back to haunt him. Messing up and failing to stay a few steps ahead for once. Or possibly a rival clan moving against him as after all while Krim may think himself safe in the US as we've seen from Salisbury etc in Russia your enemies may go after you anywhere.

Could be many a reason I guess but yeah you've come up with a good possibility CB, good research.

Could simply be that he ran out of his meds.

Could be, I recall shortly after the start of the coronavirus outbreak Krim started to write real garbled stuff. I couldn't make it out a lot of the time then he disappeared from the forum for quite some while (went to Moscow, etc). I wondered if he was going through some kind of breakdown, on drugs, etc at the time. So perhaps a regression like you say ML of not keeping up with the meds.

The last message Krim wrote was:

"wellllll...
weren't you the people who said "NEE!!"'

On the 'Struggle for Ukraine' thread. Didn't quite make sense to me but I may have missed the connection if there was one.
