Nothing special about Bride.ru ... but since women register online, you will have your share of scammer... in some way , the working pattern is similar to freepersonals.ru ... you have a free section on bride.ru, where you find women older that 35, women with child, skinny or fat one, very short and very tall, women with bad quality photo, etc ... they are not bad women, simply not the supersexy babe who bring money...

By example, take a look at http://bride.ru/ph/htcgi/ladies/503/503993P1.html ... not bad but older of 35 year and a daughter of 10 year old... so, the contact information is free for these girl... on the right side of these page, at the top, you can read "Send me FREE addresses of beautiful ladies!"... fill your e-mail in the field... you will first receive a confirmation e-mail... the second e-mail is a list of contact information from free girls of the last 30 days... and after, you receive daily information on each new free girls...

The big advantage is that you communicate directly with the girl... no agency scam letter...

Probably Bride RU's best features are:

1. Very ample selection (20,000+ profiles, some 30-40 new profiles in their DAILY newsletter).
2. Fair conditions for DIRECT access to their FSUW: "For only $49.95 a month you get full access (email, post address, phone number) to all ladies from our site."

I used them on a couple of occasions in the past, and had no problems. Their share of scammers is moderately low, compared with other sites.

I found my fiancee there. After my experience using them, I'd say they're fine to use. Most complaints I hear about Bride.ru are because they offer no services or guys are not smart enough to figure how to cancel their membership when they're done. They cancelled my membership and removed my finacee's profile within 24 hours when asked. The girls fill out the profiles themselves and you get a true read on what they're looking for in a man and photos aren't photoshopped by bride.ru either.

Once I decided not to use it because they give my phone number and home address to absolutely unknown for me guys. I heard lots of horrors from these girls listed on site about night calls and unexpected guests. So maybe for some it`s all right, but for me it`s lack of safety. I gave my phone number and address to the guy with whom I`m communicated not before a bunch of letters when I already has an idea who is he.

That's true about Bride.ru giving out phone numbers. That might be over the limit but in a way it's a good thing because bride.ru checks to see if there's a female on the other end of that working phone number and cuts back on male scammers. My fiancee received up to 20 letters a day but only received two calls from men without her permission. Most of men's problems is that they don't get on the phone enough.

Note: please never call me without my permission you don't have any chance !

Not that this will deter everybody from calling, though, once they've paid for membership .
