Actually I have met a few Russian women that are gamers, just like here. Not too many, but some.

Reality is that your average young Russian girl is more likely to be found at the local disco or drinking beer in the park than waiting in line for the latest sketches of some modern architect. Have you ever read trip reports? It's usually fancy dinners, billiards, bowling and dancing, not opera, art exhibits and musuems.

My wife was a Half-Life fanatic when we met. She once told me that the only reason Russian chicks drag their American boyfriends to the opera and art museum is to show off how much more cultured they are than american girls  :toocool:

Wonderful, it's time to watch the Kirov Opera all over again... Gergiev is an awesome conductor... seen him with the Philadelphia Orchestra as a guest conductor.
