Getting to Cherkassy???

Another travel related question... 

I've refined my trip a little and have decided to go Kiev - Dnepropetrovsk - Cherkassy- Kiev.

I'm having problems though finding any trains that will take me from Dnepropetrovsk to Cherkassy.  Maybe there is none???

I guess the alternatives are bus or private car? The distance looks like it's about 300 km so flying isn't really an option (or is it?).

If it's not too late you and you can make the change, you might want to try Kiev - Cherkassy - Dneprop. - Kiev.

But if not and you go Kiev-Dneprop-Cherkassy-Kiev then I suggest taking a private driver from Dnp to Cherkassy. And driver from Cherkassy to Kiev.   

The other option would be sending you by bus but that would take a little cordinating in making sure you had people on the other end to greet you. I think there probably is a train that will get you there but maybe not directly.  If the information I was told a few weeks ago is correct the price for first-class train tickets have gone up again to $80. They were $60 a few months ago. ($20 two years ago).

I think the driver from Dnprop to Cherkassy would cost about $80-$90.  The driver from Cherkassy to Kiev about $40-$50.
