Bringing over Both Parents

I'm asking this on behalf of a non-RWD member who's a good friend
of ours. He's trying to get both MIL and FIL for a short visit, and
wants to know if he should author a letter of invitation for them as
a couple, or do a separate letter for each. Upsides, downsides,
experiences?

Pete got both of Venera's parents for a visit here a while back.  He would be a good person to talk to about this.

he's in Hawaii, I'll be calling him shortly - it's still early evening there.
