guys, i am in egypt. turbo must be here yesteday evening. but he still did not appeare. so as the hotel room was booked his name and mine they let me into the room. but i have not enuogh money to pay for 7 days. i am very worry about turbor and do not know what to do. he supposed he would be later becaose of the weather. but now i am here alone and i am scared very much. viking, son of s. please try to call turbo and ask him to call manager of this hotel. i think if he does not appeare till monday 1200 egypt's time i would go to russian govenment in egypt. i have no any more ideas what to do.

Can you please tell us when Turbo supposed to arrive in Egypt?

Do you know flight details, etc so I can trace him down?

There was a problem with the weather and he had to wait . He is flying through Atlanta and will be there as soon as possible.

Good that everything is sorted now(maybe his turbo wasn't working and he got late).I hope you two have a great time.A few FSU ladies have traveled to meet me in a new country and I always admire their courage if it is a first meeting.Of course in your case you already know and trust each other.

I am now in Cairo with VWRW. I want to thank everyone for their help especially Wiz and Viking. Wiz's PM to her was especially comforting for her. RWD has a great group of people.

Well, I am glad this is over. No one wants this type of anxiety, but hopefully it made the first meeting more desirable. Enjoy, have fun, keep us posted. WOuld like to see a photo of you two on a camel.

Mir, it's not TG's first meeting with vwrw.

TG, leave some money with vwrw so she could safely get back home, use it for emergencies on the next trip or use it for emergencies at home in Russia. Have fun you two and post some pics!

I am very sorry, I just read your post today.
I am happy Turbo made it safely, there were weather problems here in the US.

Maybe this camel Turbo has mentioned could be Clyde's brother.

I meant the first meeting getting off the plane in Egypt after this somewhat anxious period. You know, VWRW waiting in the airport/hotel for TG to finally show up.

We guys sometimes don't realize how lucy we are when it comes to getting ready to tackle the day. VWRW is getting ready. I have some free time. SOC, I looked hard but could see no family resemblance with our camel. I hope your crises worked out OK. After our difficulties with flight cancelations the trip is going great. I felt bad for VWRW being stuck here alone for a day but she is a real trooper. She did not know the room was fully prepaid so she worried about that but she was not traveling on a shoestring. Things are great here. She is a fantastic gal. Our hotel is great. It is a great place to visit.
