Citrus to Russia?

Thought it might be nice to take a bag of California eating Oranges to my friends in Omsk, Russia (southern edge of Siberia).

I know bringing Citris into the USA is forbidden, does Russia care?  Would this complicate anything (like needing to go through the red-line instead of the green-line at customs)?
