Things you should remember when pursuing a woman from the FSU

What are some things you should do prior to making your girl your fiance / marrying her?  What was the last thing you did or never did prior to marrying or are now in the process of doing with your significant girl / fiance?   What do you wish that you would have communicated better, discussed further prior to asking her to marry you?  This is intended to help guys do things prior to marriage so they do not find out after, ask themselves - what if?   Maybe this thread will help guys from making a mistake that have not married / help get a thing or two straighter for guys who are married?
