Getting Married? How Stupid.

I can remember when an average guy, who I now know, who had been married for many years, acted surprised when I was getting married and gave the typical response, "What in the hell are you doing that for?"  Now, this question is coming from a guy who was married to his younger day's sweetheart for many years and was asking such a question. He gives the impression of "Why would you do that?", but, in reality, a reality that is not known to him, is he would seek to do the same if he was single.  I have seen married men rush to find another lady even before they were divorced.

Well, my lovely wife is my 2nd marriage. I did seek out a 2nd wife, but not until 10 years after my divorce. Ok, I'm not telling the truth. I sought out wives in America but I didn't find what I was looking for. So, through a series of events, I met my current wife. That series of events, though, was about 3 years.  And she's a Russian Lady and I think that makes me very lucky or blessed, depending on how you look at it.

I have not found anything better than marriage, except for the Lord. I proposed during the 1st week of seeing each other and we have been married for almost a 2.5 years. We just spent our 2nd Christmas together (if anyone is offended by Christmas, study hard), and I enjoy coming home from work everyday. This isn't the confession of a 1 week wonder, it's the confession of a man who found an FSUW and W stands for wife. I'm blessed from above, and I made the best decision of my life when I asked," Will you marry me." It's too bad I had to wrestle her to ground to get her to change her no answer....just kidding.

    Given the happiness and success you've posted on this board time and again, even severe crticism really doesn't matter when it comes to what's paramount - the health and bliss you've found with Oksana. Understand that the quickdraw method of engagement you used seldom works. You've defied the odds - as I did - by marrying the first Russian lady I met. Guys like you and me ought to be counting our blessings rather than seeking 100% public approval. Ain't gonna happen.

I find myself in this club, too.  Luda and I met and decided to marry in the space of a week- nine years ago.  It worked fine for us.

what agencies do you recommend? I need some good honest ones.
Dont tell me you just went over there and pick your wife. That wont happen for me; though I do know exactly what I want in women. "A lady in the street and a freak in the bed!" HAHA
okay alittle more than that. But you guys give me hope after reeading so many horrer stories on the forum and others; how did you guys do it? can you put into a forumla! haha serious. what did you do? and your thought process;

Sign up for 6 months or a year or whatever. Get access to all the pictures and E-mail addresses and then start writing letters. It worked for me.

Bradd, can i ask you when have you use aprettywoman ? I was business partner with them from 1996 until 2005... The first and original owner was a Ducth guy living in South Africa and all was great... recently ( 2004-2005 ) , they have become a US business and some strange practice have appear...

By example, not that the agency is not honest but paying to girls/men 20$ for each profile submitted is the perfect way to have fake profile... imagine our good know mister scammer who make 20 fake profile month... 400$ income... not so bad if you don't live in big city in FSU...

  Hey I used them around September 2004. I guess thats a good point that companies can change. I just have always liked the agencies who let you pay one lump sum and let you have access to all the girls and let you do your own work. It's just my opinion though. Many others have succeeded using all sorts of agencies.
