Yes, this is already the best birthday I've ever had. Add to that the recent best Christmas + New Year's, so I'm going for the trifecta

Polina has been running around town for the last two days, she's hatching some big birthday scheme tonight for when I arrive home from work.

All she's told me is that I have to knock on the door tonight, I can't simply walk in...

Thanks for all the good wishes, my b-day was one for the book!

I arrived home that night to find my fiancee waiting for me at the door. She made me close my eyes and guided me across the threshold. After nearly falling face-first a few times, I was safely inside our pitch-black apartment, thawing after the bitter cold. Polina told me to open my eyes, and when I did I was stunned: she had placed hundreds of flickering candles arranged in the shape of a huge heart on our floor. I was speechless, it was breathtaking and must have taken her hours and hours to complete. And how the hell did she manage to keep all those candles lit at the same time?    She made me sit on our sofa and took my gifts to me, one by one, my favorite of which is a charcoal drawing of us sharing an embrace (which now graces our living room wall).

A fabulous dinner followed, and that's where my TR will conclude 

Suffice it to say, however: On this forum we often talk with disdain (and rightly so) about the false hype, the glowing stereotypes, the too-good-to-be-true myths that marriage agencies promote in describing life with a Russian/Ukrainian women. Anyone with common sense or experience beyond letter-writing and phone calls knows that this adornment is, in reality, perfume on a pig.

Yet the irony of it is this: Nothing even the most saccharine agency website could dream up and foist on dreamy-eyed single men can compare with the reality of life with a Russian/Ukrainian woman who truly loves you.

Oh, ain't that the truth, however I don't think it will require the same amount of candles , I have found something unusuall & unexpected works great, just a tip groove
