Hello everyone!
« on: February 10, 2007, 03:14:19 PM »
Hi:)
I'm new here, just wanted to meet everyone and say hello.
I'm almost 47 (in march) and 2 years ago I married a Russian girl (she is 27 now)
We have a one y.o. daughter and life is wonderful!
My hat is off to many of you who search and marry Russian girls without speaking the language and knowing the culture!!! That's what I call playing a real "Russian Roulette"!
I was born in Russia and speak russian fluently, but still it wasn't that easy to find a girl that I actually felt comfortable enough marrying and starting a family with. Still it took me a few months of searching on Russian internet...
I was married to an American girl for 15 years and I'll tell you, I really enjoy my life with a Russian girl a lot more! I'm really fed up with American feminist women, and Russian women are so refreshing, if you know what I mean?
Well, good to meet you all,
Ed

Welcome Ed!

It's good to have another married perspective here. I look forward to hearing about how things are going and how they have gone in the adjustments to life in the U.S.

Howdie Ed, and welcome.

We have a great deal in common:  We both live in Florida and have both been with AW.  You have other experience that may lie ahead of me.

Look forward to your contributions.

Tim

I am also new here and have been reading to find out what differences in age work and am very interested in learning about your experience.  Speaking Russian must be a great advantage.

Looking forward to getting advice from you!

Best regards,
Tom

Welcome Ed! Olga and I also live in Florida as well as Jet, Lilya and a few other couples. Maybe we should all get together for dinner sometime? Or maybe a Russian Common meeting? Jet put one together a couple of years ago and we all had a very nice time.

I would like to  comment here, of course you are welcome:) btw:)

just I think it  is not polite  and shows low culture when people are talking about the other nation's women to be bad and completely impossible to live with , am sorry nobody ever asked you to marry this American girl but why is it necessary to bring her down by this you put label and stamp on other American women.

To  my mind if you are happy with somebody else it is great, but one should not say negative things about the other women that is very mean and even rude from my point of view!

There are a lot of caring and nice American women and there are a lot of mean and poor quality women, scammers  in Russia , but we should not generalize people like that you know.

Jazz

I second your thoughts.
Also I think men who marry for the second time in their 40s are likely to do better then the first time since they are more experienced in many ways, may have more time for the lady as they might be more established financially and besides which 40 or 50 plus man would not be chafed getting a 20 something girl? :)

Oh that is the main point!

as soon as he finds much better than this 20 y.o younger , he will dump her for another one, some men are always striving for something ideal non existing and they will never feel sorry for their ex women , which is so sad and which  I wanted to change in men for them to be finally faithful, is that so hard to do?:) it is hard for them for sure:))

Why are you talking about love then , never touch this topic ever if you can dump your wives after 20 years of marriage or something , cos real love never fade away so fast , oh yes I understand about issues how it is popular now to call ambitions and personal dreams which people want to achieve and their partner is messing around and spoiling all of his attempts , oh dear  just be true with yourself first of all, then to  claim your other half to be bad housewife , bad cook , not attentive and so on , do not excuse your nature  for finding young meat , who's fate will be the same as your ex's

:) Jazzy , Master of psychology

that is an article from my future book:))) ahahha

I see nothing bad in the phrase "American feminist women".
I think if Jazzy - Master of psychology, had a knowledge of the  history  and ideas of feminism  movement and even knew the general and particular features of American and Russian feminism she would not have written her  statement.

It is just truth that the Feminism is a part of social,  cultural, economic and political life of the developed countries and American feminism is more active and progressive.

am sorry , so what? according to your opinion it is normal to tell negative and bad things about different nations,  let them be feminists if they want to , maybe some men like that , you never know , God I do not claim to know everything, why you always try to point out which kinda knowlege do I have? is that bothering you so much , no matter what you know that does not give you right to claim these women are better than the other ones, maybe only you think that russian women are great, for some people they might be scammers so
it is just you never know, one day you can say exatly  opposite thing about russians

I do not claim that my opinion will be like that forever with experience I will understand who is who so leave that to me:)

thank you

There is not anything bad about American feminist women in Florida-guy's post  :)

I have not the least interest for your knowledge. It is enough to read some your posts.

You are welcome  :)

Olga.

hahahah You see how things are simple:) very good :)

peace to you dear Legal + Olga:)

Back to the question

I do not know for me the main thing is love , If I do not have one why should I pay attention to nations and pointing out the age of my partner, I do not think it is important in his case ,
the main thing he is happy and that will do:)
