Russian movies on Netflix

 Netflix has a few movies in Russian if anybody uses that service (it's awesome by the way)  Nataly picked a few movies and added them to our queue.... Burnt by the Sun, Brat, The Diamond Arm, Tycoon:A new Russian, and lilya 4-ever

 So far we have only seen Lilya 4-ever, a good , but very depressing movie about a young Russian girl who has some bad things happen in her life, I don't want to spoil the story, but she get's involved in prostitution.  Everyday life in poorer parts of the FSU are realisticly shown, from run down soviet style apartments to a homeless kid with dreams of playing in the NBA...good acting job by this boy, and also the star of the film Oksana Akinshina, you might recognize her from "Bourne Supremecy" with Matt Damon, she plays the daughter of Russian diplomats who were killed by Bourne in his first mission. Cute girl, good actress.

 Soooo guys, if you don't mind subtitles, there are plenty of good Russian flicks for you and your girl to check out.     www.netflix.com
