Immigration Attorneys... Who's Best?
« on: March 31, 2007, 11:03:14 AM »
I would appreciate if anyone reading this thread could pass along advice and personal experiences they have had with Immigration attorneys. The point of this thread is NOT whether to consider using an immigration attorney or not, but the point of this thread IS to decide who are the best (full service) immigration attorneys available at all price levels. Thanks for any input.

P.S. Anyone ever use these guys?

New one- never heard of her. Maryland State Bar is voluntary so that was no help. Jessup, Maryland is her location.

Good and cheap for sure. . . . . I dont see any reccs like most of us put up although there is a claim of 100s a year being done. Most of her page seems to be lifted from other legal websites. . . .

10 years ago the K1 market was a lot less crowded with new fish.
There used to be only Roth, Holmes and me doing volume in Ks and a couple of others.

This is kind of a lame thread but. . . . . . what the hell.

One women attorney I talked said she has filed over 200 I-360's and has had only two rejected. Those were for two women one of whom had 14 arrests for prostitution and the other who did a fiancee swap after she got here. She even got 10 men approved as abused spouses of USC and has 2 more in the works. She says she screens her clients carefully and sorts out the liars. She's hoping for immigration reform so she can up her average.

I haven't used Luba's services but she was a frequent contributor to the "Ask Olga and Friends" Yahoo group before it was retired a few months ago.  She seemed very knowledgable and I did call her about my legal situation back in December.  She was helpful and if I needed any immigration help I wouldn't hesitate to call her again.  Now if she only offered a reverse-immigration service...

I used one of the three attorneys mentioned by William 3rd (and I did not use Wm3rd's services) for my first K1 ::) ::). It was a total waste of money, there was no value added and - worse - there were mistakes that I found - and did not find - that caused delays. After the filing was completed, and the visa issued. Ukrainian customs at Borispol found a mistake in the visa information that caused a delay. The attorney's service was poor, the communication here and in Ukraine was bad and customer service was frosty.

Then again, maybe this attorney was trying to tell me something ;D.  For my last and final  ;D :) K1, my wife and I did everything ourselves with no problems. :D.
