USCIS Service Centers processing K-1

When I mailed in my K-1 petition to the Nebraska Service center, it was sent to California.  I checked the processing dates for all 4 service centers, and the I129F was being processed only at California and Vermont.

On 15 June 2007, the processing dates were updated.  Now the I 129F form is only listed on the Nebraska Service Center.

Does anyone know exactly which service centers are processing the K-1?

My petition was received on 11 Oct 2006.  Now it says for Nebraska that they are processing cases from Feb 2007. 

A month ago, I called the 800 number to inquire about my case which was more than 30 days overdue.  I still have not received any information.  I am thinking about contacting my Congressman who has an aid who helped me in the past.

Looks like Nebraska for now. However, filings are still to be made following the instructions per contact with the liason at CSC

Wayne, in our case the dates posted on USCIS were several months behind what was actually going on in real time.....'Head Up'  you will have her with you in a short time   We live in Texas, but our paper work went through California....and then Vermont...

I checked the processing dates again today.  They were updated on 15 June--but also again on 118 June!

Now the I-129F for K-1/K-3 is listed as processing cases received on 14 Dec 2006 for both California and Vermont.  Nebraska and Texas do not have such listing. 

Our case was received by California on 11 Oct 2006--so it is more than 2 months late!

I sent an email to an Aid of Congressman Dave Camp asking for him to interceed.

They always update their processing dates to show that they are processing cases received 6 months previous.  These processing timelines are really pretty useless because they don't reflect the actual processing time.  They have set 6 months as the goal to have applications processed so that is what they post.  It will never show a time of less than 6 months, even if they are currently taking less time to process them.  The only time this will change is when they exceed the goal of 6 months, then this processing time will be changed to reflect that delay.  Of course, since this is the government, they will never admit that they are behind schedule.
