It has no sens to ask that kind of questions, how would you feel if somebody posted your picture and wrote "comments on his looks" you know it's creepy, it shows that you do not respect woman

Permission be damned   Photos are property and the rights of images are very limited. I have a hard enough time adhering to actual real laws on the books, I won't even start with the imagined

I am not imagining anything, If you read my post, I didn't say it was illegal, just a bad idea and I will add in bad taste, it is not against the law to have bad taste, many do, to each his own. Just commenting from my own POV. Of course I am referring to pictures of girlfriends/wives/and their children etc.

Gnom, as for legal matter let me explain oyu the general policy which is valid in most countries, including yours.

The person who makes the picture has the authors right, which mean he or she can do with it whatever they wish to do, including posting on the internet.
This is limited only by the portrait right of the individual portrayed in the picture. However the portrait right is valid only if the pictures have been taken in a private setting.
If I take a picture of a woman who is walking on the street there is absolutely no legal possibility to stop me from posting this picture on the internet, regardless if I know the woman or not, regardless if I have asked her permission or not.

Also note that on RWD pictures are to be viewed by members only, there for will not land on Google or other search engines.

If someone objects to a picture of him or her being on RWD, they can contact the member who made the picture and through him/her have it removed.
As author they are the ones to decide on publication.

Google managers had problems, few teenagers posted on youtube film, they were offending a boy with Down syndrome. Managers did not want delete the film and family of the boy sued managers and won. People who are on the photos also must be protected by the law. If everything was possible, everyone will post pictures of people that they do not like + a lot of insulting words.

There used to be another forum that was very popular in its day and as far as I know is defunct.  What you are talking about was common there.  Often it was photos taken from agency sites that showed an older man with a very beautiful young woman and the purpose of the photos and posts were to poke fun and to ridicule that couple.  Personally I hated those threads and it turned me off from the whole site.  I really don't believe in making fun of people just as you seem to find it disagreeable or discusting.  I agree, photos like that for that purpose are in very poor taste.

Gnom, I have been a member here since nearly day one.  For the first three years or so, I read every post here.  For the past few years I have been busy to do that but I still am on RWD about 10 times a day, most days and read as much as I can.

Frankly, I have not seen what you are objecting to.  With the possible exception of the jokes thread I haven't seen photos posted to make fun of anyone or to ridicule them. 

Sometimes in Trip Reports people post photos of some of the women they met but usually only the ones they liked not for the purpose of make fun of them.  I won't say there are not times that something has happened.  I can think back to the Photoguy treads and there were some negative comments about his fiancee and that was five years ago and most of that has been removed.  About the same time I might say the same about Miss Sensuality and that too was long ago and a different crowd.  I won't say you can't find anything but for the most part photos are not posted for the reason you state and if a woman objects to her photos being posted they are removed.  I can only think of one case this has happened in the past few years. 

I have to agree that what you feel is undesirable is very undesirable but I think you are making it a big issue when it is not.

Won what? Removal or compensation? Please provide a link to where information may be found on the case you mention, I would be very interested to read the court directives or comments. BTW, a court settlement or pre court settlement or out of court settlement (which may include the request of the plaintiff) neither makes something necessarily legal or illegal, it simply (in some cases) creates precedent.
