About myself:

I am a little bit shy and tend to lurk instead of posting but if you ask me a question I will give you an honest answer.

My wife is very private so don't expect a lot of information about her.  How two shy people met each other 6,000 miles apart I will never fully understand but...


Sveta arrived here October 2002, we were married 13 days later.
Her first SS card had her first name misspelled!  (My handwriting should be against the law! LET ME TYPE!!)
Her first green card had her middle name misspelled!  (My handwriting again!!)
....
When we tried to get her name changed on her Ukrainian passport the said "no immigration stamp... NO HELP from the consulate"

INS phone support said "just send it back with written information of what is wrong and we will correct it" BIG MISTAKE!!

They lost it and the next person we talked to said we should never have sent it in so another $90 fee for a lost card but at least the second one was corrected.

Sveta was sworn in as a US citizen August 9, 2006   No more INS... no more Ukrainian passport..

If you as a question about Windows.. .the answer is Format the hard drive and install Linux   If absolutely have to be able to run Windows software, Install VMWare and then install Windows in that.

Can you tell I am a computer geek yet?
